Hi. This is my first post after lurking for quite some time. I saw this deal for one of my most anticipated games, and didn't see a thread about it so I figured I'd post it up

Preorder Shadow Hearts 2 and you get the first one for free! The first one was an excellent game. Also I checked and EB is also doing this promotion. Finally it is an in-store deal as well.

Ah, don't beat yourself up too much. It's a great deal and it could use the boost.

That's cool, the other thread was posted months ago, so it's possible a lot of the new people don't know about this deal. Great deal in my opinion.

was it ever determined if the bonus first Shadow Hearts game is new or used?

From everything we can tell, it appears to be new, like the free games that Midway was giving away with the preorders for their titles.

It's new, and GS should be getting it instore sometime later this month, not sure on the exact date. Don't know if we'll be giving them out with the preorder or the game.

I would assume they'd only give them out when Shadow Hearts 2 is picked up. After all, you could put down $5, take the free game and come back in a few weeks to get your $5 back.

According to my GS.com preorder, SH1 ships on the 16th, SH2 on 9/1 (though I've heard 9/16)...

the first one is discontinued is it not? or unless they release more new copies.
