Posting at SteveMcQ's request...

Hey Linkin,

I'm havin' some odd problems with the site. I wanted to know if you could possibly put up a thread for me in the CAG Site Feedback Forum since I can't seem to access some stuff with the site.

Here are my problems:

In the forums, I cannot see any of the icons. In the thread listing, the two columns of icons don't show up. The "arrow" icon that you can click to get to the last post in the thread doesn't show up. The menu bar at the top that has things such as "User CP" doesn't show up for me and I can't see any other clickable boxes in any threads, such as "Quote", etc.

In the text writing box, I can't see any of the text options either, though all pull down menus show up.

I'm actually not sure if it's a Firefox issue or a site issue, but it's only this site that shows obvious problems for me. I've tried restarting Firefox and the PC and coming back to this site, but it's the same thing.

Sorry I can't seem to see the option to start a thread or else I'd do it myself.

Thanks.

Thanks Linkin. Here's a screen cap of what it looks like on Firefox:

I just tried IE and it works just fine. When I do tabbed browsing the site icon doesn't show up in the corner of the tab either, but only with CAG. I just checked my Firefox and it's up to 2.0.0.9 and all my add-ons/extensions are up-to-date. I had not installed anything new either.

Using Adblock? Make sure you didn't accidentally block something from CAG's server.

lately I haven't been able to see embedded videos. I have to click the "download" link to go to youtube and watch them. that's about all though...

and agreed with the Crotch. Not getting on the OTT-hates-Linkin bandwagon, but man, seriously, what the hell

Adblock is the only thing I can think of as well. No problems in Firefox here.

The culprit was indeed Adblock and a wonky Mouse Gestures add-on. My "open new link" gesture had been acting weird at times. It seems CAG images were accidently added to the block list. I wasn't even aware there was that feature in Firefox.

In other good news, I did manage to try out Opera for a bit.

Edit: BTW, thank you very much for your replies. I was about to go nuts figuring out why the site was doing this. I appreciate it.
