This is the cheapest controller I could find:

http://www.videogamedeals.com/product_info.php/products_id/184

anyone know of it cheaper, it is $8 there.

Sucks when you pay two dollars less for the controller of the system, compared to the system itself.

I customized mine blue it looks tight, and is the dc official keyboard rare or something?

zewone

The keyboards are not rare. I can buy like as many as I want for $1 each. Well maybe not as many as I want but like 20 or 30.

$10 Dreamcast deal? Please fill me in. I hate missing out on deals like this.

EDIT: NEVER MIND. I now see the deal blatantly posted on the main page. Geez...I guess it'd be smart for me to check the left side of the screen first before I hit the forums.

That's the second time today I proved myself to be an idiot.

No I got mine for 3 dollars. I believe it was worth it. Good to go online with (no more virtual keyboard) and to play Typing Of The Dead (awesome game)

You can find them easily in the back shelves of most EBs and Game Stops. I've got 4 licenced Sega controllers, and they kick ass. (Even though my DC is in a cabnet, since I've ran out of room w/ my GC, PS2, XBox, and (Top Loading!) NES in w/ the rest of everything else.

Geeze, I love my DC, though. Get Power Stone 2!

How do you get online with a DC?

What do you need?

I'm not sure if you can still use the built-in dial-up modem to get on the internet since I've never researched that.

But, if you have cable or DSL, you'll need an ethernet adapter that costs 10x what the EB Dreamcasts are currently going for:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41053&item=8121888 943&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

If I'm not mistaken, Sega no longer supports any of their DC online games. So, if you're wanting to just surf the 'net, you'll need a CD with a browser on it (official or homebrew):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8121350 847&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I've read there are ways to still play DC games online, but I doubt you'd ever find anyone to play with these days since better online games are available on PS2 & Xbox.

It ain't worth the time, effort & money to get the DC online.

I was talking about the DC Keyboards not the controllers.

If your Gamestop has DC games on sale, you can get that applied to the controllers, too, if your nice. I got 2 extra $10 controllers for $7 bucks each, because they want to get rid of them.
