I bought FZero GX off ebay for 6.95 almost 3 weeks ago. It has still not been shipped. He said it had to clear the bank last week, and has not responded to any of my emails for a week. I tried calling him and there is no one picking up. What's up with that??? What should i do? I don't wanna leave bad feedback because he has 100% feedback right now.

fuck his feedback, leave him a neg and file a paypal dispute. you dont have any feedback anyway so it doesnt matter if he gives a neg back, you can just make a new account

File a Paypal a dispute, and I think in this case, it would be ok to leave negative feedback (I hate leaving negative feedback but sometimes it has to be done)

You should check your bank account to make sure the check cleared. If so, try contacting him one more time saying the check cleared according to my bank, then waiting 24-48 hours for a response.
He could also have gone home for Thanksgiving and not checked his e-mail so if you've contacted him numerous times about it over the weekend and he hasn't responded, you need to exercise some patience. He also says he ships Media Mail Tuesdays and Saturdays. Media Mail can take awhile normally (USPS says 4-7 days but I know people who have waited a week or two), and I'm going to assume it may be longer during the Holiday season. You're really going to have to be patient after it does ship as well.
Worse comes to worse, you're out 7 bucks and leave the guy negative feedback.
Edit - since you paid by money order - it can take some time to make sure it doesn't bounce but usually no more than a week.

Arent you the same guy who wanted to retract his bid last week because he found a better price but already won the item?
I'd give him a few more days. Is everyone forgetting this was a holiday weekend?

When did you mail the payment? If it arrived late, and he waits one week for mailed payments to clear before shipping, it could just be a cluster*&%! of bad circumstances. Unfortunately you have no financial protection because you didn't use Paypal. My best advice is to go ahead and get a Paypal account. For better or worse, the buyer is almost always given the benefit of the doubt in these cases.
I doubt the guy is a con artist, based on his feedback.
Yeah, what's the timeline here.
What day did you mail the money order?

Way too early for you to be worrying.
How far away is the seller from you? USPS can take up to 5 days to send a letter coast to coast. It could be even longer right now due to the holidays.
Secondly he's going to wait at least 7 days, and possibly as many as 14 days to make sure that the money order was valid and cleared his bank. These things take time... this is why folks use Paypal, the other ways take too damn long. Also remember that these are BUSINESS DAYS. M-F excluding holidays. Up to now you've only had 8 BUSINESS DAYS since the auction ended.
Finally. He is shipping this item MEDIA MAIL which takes frigging forever. Add to that "I ship Media Mail on Tuesdays and Saturdays" which is right in his terms on the listing. Once he ships it's going to take up to 14 days from the day that it's shipped.
Due to the circumstances of money order + shipping method + holiday season I would say that you shouldn't expect to receive this for at least another 2 weeks.

Ok, mailed out on the 13th, he recieved it by the 17th, and now he's waiting for it to process.(never knew it took that long). Yesterday, I filed a claim to say i didn't recieve it yet, today, he said it shipped out on the 17th(the day he received my payment, ironic much?) even though on early emails, he said he would ship it out by the 24th. On the 25th, i wanted to ask him if he shipped it out yet. No response. Called, still no response. So i filed a claim, and now he says he shipped out on the 17th(which is ironic because on the 20th he said it's still processing and he can't ship until he processes). This is just strange. I don't even know if he actually shipped. (btw, i just realized, most of that 100% feedback is as a buyer, not a seller)

USPS can take up to 5 days to send a letter coast to coast.
A couple years ago when I was in college, I left my phone charger at home. My mom shipped it to me (Media Mail) and it took 6:hot: days to get from Shawnee, OK to Alva, OK, which are less than 200 miles apart.
With it being the holiday season, like everyone else has said, it might take a while.

Yep, actually, counterfeit money orders are a big con nowadays. I don't even accept them, myself. Banks suck, and it was a holiday weekend. Get over it. I doubt this guy signed up on eBay, maintained a sterling record, all in the hopes of scamming someone out of $7 on a crappy GameCube game.
(btw, i just realized, most of that 100% feedback is as a buyer, not a seller)
Further proving that you are, indeed, a jackass, its actually kind of 60/40 with the majority of his feedback being as a seller.

I think I can safely say that people like you are the reason a lot of eBay sellers ban and cancel bids from users with zero feedback. I really hope this experience sours you from eBay and you never buy anything from there again, because if I ever saw you bidding on one of my auctions, I would cancel your bid immediately.

actually, i bought it 2-3 weeks ago. Anyway, what's so bad about people with 0 feedback. You have to give everyone a chance. One neg, and i won't do business. That's how i would do it.

Um, that you act like a douchebag over your $7 order not arriving quick enough over a holiday weekend during the time of the year that the mail system is congested and at its slowest?

great, now's he's offering me a refund even though he claimed to have shipped it. Did he really ship it?(that's the big question) so i should tell him to give the refun over paypal, right?

He may be offering a refund because he feels it got lost. Media mail is a bitch and I've had items that I shipped take almost a month (why I now ship first class regardless)
In regards to money orders I work for a company that cannot be named but we handle about 90% of the money orders out there and very very few are bounced back. Aside from a western union and a postal money orders (the latter is guaranteed) the only other real option is a cashiers check and they are certified so the risk is more iwth the bank being dicks more than anything.
