A big debat some of my friends have is the old PC (mouse and keyboard) vrs Console (gamepad) in FPS. I'm used to the mouse and keyboard, and find using gamepads awkward and slow....so to play a game, would you rather get it on a console or a pc ????

I'm used to a controller, and playing any game on the computer feels weird to me. My vote is for console.

It depends on what you're used to really...

I love my Xbox but PC is the better experience for FPS. Unfortunately, you have to constantly upgrade the PC.

Keyboard and Mouse all the way! Too bad when I play fps on a console with friends, they beat the crap out of me....

I prefer Keyboard and Mouse, just for the fact of the possibilities of what you can do compared to a controller. Better accuracy with the mouse. More able to customize the controls to your liking. Many more.

I like Keyboard and mouse, but if the game was orginally made for the consoles I want to play it on a console because thats what it was designed for. Same for games designed for the PC.

i agree with both of you. using a mouse is much easier to me rather than using my thumb to control mini joysticks... better precision (more accurate) and quicker response. :)

For me, it's console until PC can actually do FPSs right and with originality.

console - mainly just because I can't recline in a big chair with a beer while in front of my computer desk, but I can when I play on my consoles in the den.

That's probably only cuz you're not quite as good with a thumbstick. I play FPS on consoles a lot and don't notice a differnce in repsonse (though my mouse sucks so it can't follow hand movements fast enough). Also, many console games allow you to adjust sensitivity maker for quicker response if it's too slow. As for aiming, I find that a mouse takes alot of skill away from sniping in a game (Should we be able to take someone down over 50 yrds away with a couple rounds from a Thompson machine gun in CoD? Not IMO)...thou that does create a more level playing field for beginners and such.

I'm definitely a console gamer, but FPS goes to the PC.

PC is better imo. I *still* don't know why people love Goldeneye so much. It wasn't THAT good.

you're right. i am worse on a console fps rather than a computer fps. however, all the fps games on pc also allow you to adjust the mouse sensitivity... so i dunno where you're going with that. as for CoD, i've never played it :P but i'm sure if they ported it to console, the thompson machine gun would so the same thing.

Sitting in front of your computer to play games is uncomfortable and stupid. Sitting on a couch or in a recliner and relaxing and playing the game on your TV makes much more sense to me.

FPS, racing, sports - it doesn't matter, console all the way.

I can do both. I love gaming. It only takes about 15 seconds or less to re-adjust.

DenisDFat's answers are offdahook funny!

PC, although FPS built for consoles should stay there. Keyboard and mouse is just too standard to not be a fan of...

Goldeneye was the first to really have good four player action...... it was really fun to sit down and have 4 people shoot each other. ... instead of being infront of a computer byyourself...... and for me being in college when it came out..... it was the game to play.

Personally, I think the keyboard and mouse takes the skill (and therefore fun) out of any FPS.

Also, online play is for fucktards, and LAN parties are more trouble than their worth.

To each his own, though.

I'm definitely more in tune with the console side of things. I got really used to the controller while playing Halo and now mouse and keyboard seems awkward to me. It may be better if you're used to it, but for me it's a bad thing.

I prefer console because I'm never good at remembering hotkeys, but internet play is just so freaking awesome.
