okay i just picked up this package today at best buy

What it says is you get the

White PSP system
Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron game

Well i open up the package and what do i see

CART ONLY

no box no manual

if i knew this i would of got the dexter set (at least you get a memory card in that game)

do you really need the manual to play the game.

I probally just toss the piece of #$#$# up n ebay and hopefully get some cash for the game


EDIT just called up best buy and they said they can not take it back since its open. If i knew that i would never go it

I can understand not getting a separate box for the game since it's packaged inside the PSP... but no manual sucks. Maybe you can try contacting LucasArts about getting a replacement?

LOL I called up best buy cause just tried playing the game and wouldnt load

They said they had over 50 of these come back cause the game was crack or damage during shipping. They said they only way is to rip open another package deal and send back the system as defected

Expect sony to take a major loss on profits if this is true cause they are going to have a lot of these returned

once i get a working copy i might just toss it up on ebay as cart only and hopefully get 20 or 25 out of it. Or toss it up on goozex

Same reason that Nintendo doesn't include a case for Wii Sport, Wii Play, or Links Crossbow Training. To save on costs. Every game for the PSP bundles have come in cardboard sleeves all the way back to the entertainment pack.

I dont think its to save on cost i think its so people cant resell them as NEW

i know with the gamecube bundles people were selling the games and getting a cheaper system.

they seem to be fetching 20 to 30 on ebay so if it goes for that i be happy. NEver though about going to EB Games with the 30% bonus

its a 40 buck game so probally 20 trade in then the 30% would been 26

If you ever need manual instructions for controls, Gamefly has them listed under each game (or at least the ones I've checked).

Yeah, I got the Star Wars PSP pack too and was pissed that there was no case. But I did get a manual! That should be unacceptable, and they should mail you one for free! I can understand no case for cost reasons, but a manual for a game like that is crucial.

they just popped another game into the box and didnt check to see if the manual was there

Best buy is ripping open these bundles just to replace the game that are broken in alot of these shipments

system isnt defective but they have to return them as that since the store opened them.

maybe i go back and #$#$# day after xmas and seee if they take a returned item

I got mine from Amazon when it first came out. I doubt it was a returned item. But if you were keeping your game I would send you the extra manual.

thanks for the offer but im 99.9% sure that i will be selling it. I wanted to pick up the core system but the only system they had was the starwars pack

I got a System i got on MAY 5 2006 from best buy and got the 2 year warrenty. Well i guess on that day? it was buy a system and get 20 bucks knocked off

the price on the recept said

i though that meant i paid 219 for the PSP and 20 knocked it to 199 BUT They are saying i only paid 180 for the psp ... Hell its been almost 2 years i cant remember.

well i went in and they had no core systems in and finally the manager said they would bump me up to the star wars bundle

so i traded in my broken psp and got the 200 buck bundle

WARRING TO PEOPLE BUYING THESE

i was told by a worker if the system breaks anytime in 2 years and the GAME ISNT RETURN they will take 40 bucks off the system price

Meaning they will only give me 140 credit instead of giving me a new system

hopefully in 2 year the psp will be under 140 or it wont break

it shows the WHITE Psp with the game sealed . talk about pissing people off when they buy it to see its cart only and not the complete game.
