Just filed a BBB report on buy.com

To make a long story short I ordered House Season 2 from them during their black friday sale. Today I get an email stating their supplier can't meet demand and they cancelled my order. I check their site and they list it being in stock for 3 times the price i was supposed to pay.

After 40 minutes on hold a CSR tells me the supplier for my order cancelled and couldnt meet demand but they have other suppliers and thats why its in stock. They said they can't re-instate order once its cancelled and they wont sell it at the price they listed.

Buy.com could give a rats ass about their rating but i figuired i'd try. I'm definitely never shopping with them again.

Sorry to hear about that dude. I just bought a 2GB Kingston laptop memory module from them for only $39 after rebate and had no problems, it was sent out yesterday.

I already did a BBB dispute about another issue. Needless to say I still got screwed over. I never shop at buy.com

I don't shop there, and I tell others whenever I get a chance to not bother with them. Sure, it may look like a deal, but you're likely to get screwed, and they always cancel/partial cancel or refuse to sell whenever they feel like it.

That site's policies are pure shit!

that really your lost if you stop buying from buy.com Personally I had tons got great experience with them combining with google checkout.

As to the OP, they are probably referring to the number of copies they set aside to be sold at a discount is sold out.

62T if thats the case i'd be surprised. I ordered the dvd within 10 minutes of it being posted. They also had it available for ordering the entire day about 15 hours AFTER i ordered mine

I've bought a lot of stuff from them with no problems. Used GCO like it was going out of style.
