I was wondering if anybody here on CAG is Irish. I live in Ireland, and I was surprised how nobody seems to be a gamer. The only gamers I know are several freinds and weird 8-year olds who like playing movie licensed crap, and want to show me their ''pokemons''. I feel very isolated. I did not even know what best buy, circuit city or walmart was before I started listening to the cagcast 2 years ago, because basiclly what we have are gamestop and game. and thats it. I live in the west of Ireland, in a town called Galway.

anybody else from Ireland?

I'm half Irish, half German. Let's just say I can hold my liquor. I've always wanted to visit, but I guess it sucks if you're a gamer.

I flew through Ireland once. We all got to drink beer in the airport, that was nice.

I'm mostly Irish, followed by German, Polish, and Cherokee.

My girlfriend (CrimsonSnipette) is also mostly Irish.

I hate to break it to you, but you can actually drink beer in nearly any airport in the states as well. On my last visit to Dulles I had a vodka tonic at 10:30 AM in the airport bar. It was swell.

I might be part Irish...

I'm half Italian, about 40% black, 5% Native American, and 5% either English or Irish (we don't know) lol.

I'm Irish. I came to America (Kentucky to be exact) in 2005, got married to a Louisville girl, and stayed for two years. But we're moving to Ireland this Christmas. America isn't all that great. Walmart is like Tesco, if not worse, and Xtra-Vision > GameStop. I've got a bunch of relatives in Galway, too.

Yeah, but it was after 7 months in Iraq so it was extra potent. I've now seen a plane full of people all fall asleep at the same time, then all wake up at the same time and need to pee.

I am 100%% Irish American, all of my grandparents came over on "the boat". I was taught to say catholic prays in Gaelic and many of my family have taken up traditional dance. Though I never developed a taste for "soda"bread, but to each his own.

Alcohol is pretty scare is Muslim countries, many places that sell alcohol got bombed; But there are some Yazidis and Christians that still sell it.

BTW; I'm half Irish/half Latino; And yes, all Catholic.

Probably both county and city. I'm moving back to Sligo, where I'm originally from.

I was looking into bringing my Wii over, but I'm going to sell it as I found out my parents are buying me one (with Super Mario Galaxy) for a "Christmas/Moving Over" present. I think my Xbox 360 is about to get RROD, so I'm selling it too, and I'll eventually just buy an Elite 360 in Ireland. And I don't own a PS3, but my younger brother in Ireland does, so I'm looking to finally trying out the PS3.

Though I never developed a taste for "soda"bread, but to each his own.
Soda bread is good, with some butter and ketchup, and a bacon strip (or a "rasher" as it's called in Ireland), and it's quite tasty.
