1) How do you get DVDs onto the PSP, do you need to buy some type of software to rip DVDs onto a PC? 2) Can your PSP connect to the internet without a wireless connection, like through connecting the PSP with a usb cable to a PC?

As to one, no, all it takes is free software. PSPVideo9 for instance.

However, that only works on un-encrypted dvds (as do most pay programs, I believe). And it's not the most user friendly.

Just use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVDs then convert them.

1) Is DVD Decrypter free?
2)Where do people usually get the videos they put onto their PSPs?
3)Will it play Media Center recordings?
4)Can I hook up the PSP to computer with usb cable and download stuff onto it?
5) Is their a wifi usb dongle for PSP like there is for DS?

It should conver most of the stuff you have. DVD Decryptor is free, though not fool proof, especially with Disney stuff.

If you don't mind paying for AnyDVD is totally worth the price. It decrypts DVD's in the background. So all DVD's appear as encryption, and region free, to all your other software. Thus PSPVideo9 works fine, backups with nero, work fine, etc. They constantly release updates, any time a new DVD comes out that does not work.

2) Uh, they own it. You really shouldn't take this line of questioning any further.
3) I don't see why not, if in an accepted format.
4)yes, so long as your memory stick can hold it.
5)not that I know of. just buy a wireless router.

2) I was wondering if they use DVDs or some other types of legal sources I might not know of etc.
3) So it sounds like PSP software can format Media Center recordings to work on PSP?
5) Can't family has computers without wireless cards

5) Can't family has computers without wireless cards

A wireless router still accepts wired connections, if you have a router right now just buy a wireless and it will replace your current setup. You also get the use of the wireless capabilities.

P.S.: make sure you lock your router down from outsiders, or you'll have every kid in the neighborhood leeching your internet.

Wireless routers have wired ethernet connections on them!?

They sort of have to. You need to connect a wired computer to it to set it up in the first place, for security reasons.

How many ethernet outputs do they usually have?

Typically they have 4 wired connections. If you have special needs you can get ones that have more, but they cost more. Or, alternatively you can attach a second hub or switch to one of the wired ports and daisychain hubs until you have enough ports to cover your needs.
