Forum Search Problems

Hey, y'all.

Lately, I haven't been having much luck being able to search the CAG forums for information. If I type in something--in my case "halo 3 xbox 360"--in either the field that pops up when I click "Search" on the top menu bar, or on the Advanced Search page, when I click "Go", there's a pause, and then it goes to a white screen that says "Fatal Error", with some other garbage.

I don't think the Search likes big queries--I also tried searching for "dvi vga connection" (or something like that), and it also errored out. However, "dvi vga hdmi" did produce results.

Was anyone aware of this? :cold:

CAG's search engine is a steaming pile of shit.

It also filters out most words three letters long or shorter.

The Search function on CAG is completely broken and a disgrace. You're better off using Google.

Banging your head repeatedly against a wall works much better than the CAG search.

Of course, yelling at newbies for remaking old threads because they didn't use the search funtion is totally still fine.
