Same price at Best Buy's online website. It has been that way for a while, but Amazon has free shipping/tax free. Amazon is the way to go. Awesome series for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I had a 1.96 tax charge but still worth it for under $28 as I have been wanting to get this for so long. Also, on the best buy website, it looks like they are selling the version that doesn't come in the tin where as on Amazon, it looks like it is the version with the tin which is a big deal to me :)

Am I the only one who is thinking they are trying to get rid of HBO seasons / series because some HD version will come out? Seems odd with the sudden price dropps for HBO shows.

i dunno, seeing how most HBO shows on dvd are done either for good or for a long time, its a good way for them get part of the holiday cash

While HBO may start putting out their series in HD soon, as they have with a couple, this isn't some clearance sale or clearance on back catalog. It's just HBO doing a sale for the holidays. I've seen HBO doing ads for their sets so go figure.

Sweet deal on a great series. I paid $75 when it first came out. Can't wait for the HD version if it ever gets released stateside.
