I am wondering about this as well. I wonder if they are going to have the collectors edition still sitting in stores like Star Wars: Galaxies

I know they're doing a single player version, a single player + multiplayer, and a single player + multiplayer + moddable.
They're not milking it at all.....

that is the reason I am thinking of getting the collector's edition, since that is most likely the version you are going to need to play mods.
Also is CS 2.0 included with the game?

that seems like a good price. Not sure if I should wait for an even better price. I have only seen it available on EB and Wal-Mart.

CS Source is apparently in the box with HL, even in the regular 50$ box one. I read this in an interview on gamespot I think.

That would be sweet if it is, I know they are still working on TF2. Team Fortress was possibly the first online game I ever played, I cant remember. It was a crazy experience though.

No it isnt actually. They started working on it with the source engine along time ago and never announced that they were doing that because they did not want HL2 to be known yet. It was in the interview, TF2 will be out with in a year definately.

well, i went ahead and preordered it. i couldnt say no to a 20 dollar difference. shipping was 3 bucks, tax was 5. it came out to 68.22 in case anyone wants to know. estimated to arrive between 9/8 and 9/14. thanks for the deal.
oh yeah, if anyone can provide a link to the info regarding the collector's versus regular editions it would be appreciated.
