To expand on that...

I have an expanded desktop setup that extends on to my TV. I have noticed that what image is outputted to my tv varies a little depending on the video card. The one I have right now is pretty good... a lot better than the last one (a lot of the image isn't off screen)... however, there are borders on the top and bottom of the screen. I was wondering if there was any utility that would allow you to increase the size of the "screen" so to speak. Much like when you fiddle with your monitor's settings and you can expand the viewable area and stretch it or shrink it. I am happy that I am not losing anything like I was before... but seeing the black bars is kind of annoying on top of black bars that are also for widescreen programs.

Just checking to see if there was anything that could do this... I have found nothing in the nVidia drivers that allow me to expand the size of the screen on the tv (other than resolution of course).

Thanks!

Your graphics card's driver should have a TV option. Try that.

The driver does have a "tv option"... however, there are no options whatsoever to change the size of the screen output.
