View Full Version : Nintendo Wii at TRU?!?!

YMMV, the TRU by my house this morning (8am) DID NOT have any Nintendo Wii consoles in stock. This is after being told yesterday evening that they had them in stock for 12/2. TRU Zipcode by my house: 60459.
I was very pissed, as was the 20 people waiting in line with me. I hope you guys do not suffer the same fate.

they have wii's but only on certain stores. i went to the one in elizabeth, nj cause i was told that they had less than 150 units. i saw the pallets when they closed last night so thats why i went. and sure enough they have about 80 or more (i was #60). TRU at time square will have alot of than 100 im sure, but to wait in the cold for 3 or 4 hours in line didnt appeal to me.

i think best buy, circuit city, and target also had it in their circulars... so check at those places

one of the guys i was talking to in the line said that target receives them everyday. but only a small amount and 20 at the most.

so apparently they have about 600 units this morning at the TRU Time Square. my bro was able to get em and the line went all the way around the block and more.

How long were you in line for? Are you sure they did not give away numbers at closing last night?

we sold ours before 8 am in va. we had people lined up at 2 am apparently, so more than likely you wouldn't have got one if you showed up AT open.

Apparently we had some people waiting outside our store before close last night. If you think you can just walk in at open and get one, your sadly mistaken.

i wasnt there but my bro was. i didnt want to deal with that and experience another launch day type of line. i did however as i previously posted went to the elizabeth, nj TRU and got one from there. i was in line for 55 minutes. 5 before 8 the guy started to let us in. it was a hassle free line.
