That whole review was hilarious. That's one less movie on my list to see.

That reminds me of a jab MadTV took at Will Smith. They had that obnoxious lady who spouts back-handed insults all the time trying to rap in a video. She stopped all of a sudden and said "Look at me, a white person trying to rap. Now I know what Will Smith feels like."

Is there seriously that much advertising in the movie?!

Is there seriously that much advertising in the movie?!
Yeah... there is.
He should of made the converse sneaker about 20X bigger though.

The only real blatant ones I noticed were Converse and Audi. I'd recommend the movie for matinee price, cool action, much deeper plot than trailers/commercials suggest.

I love maddox, I actually spent a while 2 or 3 years ago reading all of his articles... because I have no life and because he's an amazing humorist.
I even bought his pirate t-shirt, it's awesome.

I don't like Maddox... he isn't funny imo.
Not funny. All he does is swear, lame.

Of the stuff I read, the only thing I found remotely funny was his "You're not Dave Chapelle" rant, and that's cause I have too many friend's who were doing Rick James and Lil' Jon stuff, and they killed the jokes entirely for me.

One of my favorite Maddox articles has to be his review of "The Signs." Linky (http://maddox.xmission.com/signs.html)
His more recent stuff doesn't seem to have the flair of the earlier ones; it feels more forced then it used to. Recently, I thought his Daredevil Review (http://maddox.xmission.com/dare_devil.html) was creative, the Elizabeth Smart (http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=elizabeth_smart) article was good, and his Bill O'Reilly (http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=bill_oreilly) and McDonald's (http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=lovin_it) attacks were particularly inventive ("Ailing Vomit").
Maddox is hit or miss, but when he hits I can barely contain my laughter at work.

Maddox is funny, but this review isn't.
At least he's got one thing right though: I, Robot sucks in every respect. The biggest mistake that director made was casting Will Smith.

No everyone doesn't, all he does is bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch... it got annoying and old real quick.

Read the book I, Robot
July 16
Don't see the movie
As I've stated before, that has been my aim away message for about 2 months now.
I love asimov, and i think what they did to the movie shows how much people can mess with a good thing.
(and yes i know it was just based on the idea of the books, but it betrays that from what i've seen)

I have yet to see the movie (and Im not planning on seeing it), but Im up to the last story in the book (The Evitable Conflict) and I must say that the book is one of the best books that Ive ever read.

I Robot is one of the best movies so far this year, IMO. Yeah, there's a ton of fucking advertising, but it's not as bad as he makes it out to be.

I can understand how someone may not like Maddox; while I liked this, his latest article, a lot of his stuff (recently) has been incredibly weak. Nothing more than a pointless, unfunny barrage of bitching.

While I normally find Maddox freakin' annoying, this review is just absurd and lame. I, Robot is a decent summer flick (granted that you pay matinee price) and given the choice between seeing it and The Village, I'd choose I, Robot.
Seriously, The Village just sucked.
