View Full Version : Is there any good free (or not) DVD to AVI software?

I want to rip some of my DVDs to AVI files, I'm a total newb and was wondering if there is any good and easy to use free software that I can use out there? Recomendtaions and advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Check guides section of videohelp.com. I've been out of this scene too long to know what's good anymore but I know that free apps will do it-though you might need more than one. Don't get overwhelmed, it's really become much easier these past few years.

I used to frequent that site all the time back when I was middle school and converting a DVD to AVI took 5 programs.:lol:
