Pikmin 2 is all but pre-ordered, my sisters are hooked too.
Donkey Konga is a possibility, as I'm more looking forward to jungle beat, but those bongos look sweet.
Starsky & Hutch may get a look only because it's supposed to be $10.

If X-Men Legends gets good reviews, I'll definitely pick that up for group gaming night.
But nothing short of a force of nature will prevent me from purchasing DONKEY KONGA! THE KONGAS WILL BE MINE!

Donkey Konga is really all I want for GC. I also want Phantom Brave for PS2, but I have like 100+ hours of sequels to play first.

Nothing on that list is truly enticeing me to get it. Nothing screams to me BUY ME!! BUY ME!! TAKE ME TO YOUR HOME!! I might get Pikmin 2, since I enjoyed the first one a lot, but I don't know if i want to pay $50 for it. If Megaman X Command Mission and X-men legends get good reviews, or i hear it was good from a bunch of CAGs, then I may pick those two up. I know my bro. will get Zoids for sure since he is such a fanatic of the show. Donkey Konga, I may get since I'm anticipating that game to become hard to find as is the case with Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
In the months of August and September, there truly isn't a game for the GC that I want to pay $50 for. ON the other hand, there are plenty of games that i'm willing to hunker down $50 for on XBox and PS2, but since this is not the board for it, I will not go off topic.

I'll buy Donkey Konga for full price simply for the fact that it comes with the bongos. Bongos, people!

mainly pikmin 2 and pso I&II plus ...

08-05-2004, 04:10 AM
None. In fact, I don't spend on paying $50 for a game anytime this year with the exception being Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (and maybe Paper Mario)

08-05-2004, 04:14 AM
Nothing on those lists interests me enough to pay full price for. I'll add Pikmin 2 and Megaman to my want list if they get good reviews, but I doubt I'd ever pay more then 20-30 for either of those. I don't really like music games, but the bongo's are unique and maybe if it ever gets cheap I'll check it out.

For August: Just picked up Army Men: Sarge's War at Walmart for $14.88 last night; finished boot camp and first mission. Plays kinda like Freedom Fighters without the squad support. A little like Splinter Cell too, but without hiding in the dark. (It's a cross between the two) Graphics and control are pretty good. Good CG cut scenes.
Late August/Early Sept(via mail): FREE Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc baby!
For September: X-Men Legends. Depending on reviews and price, I may wait.
Back in July: 15 new games acquired. =)

None. In fact, I don't spend on paying $50 for a game anytime this year with the exception being Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (and maybe Paper Mario)
I can almost assure you R&C 3 will be worth 40. I have played the beta to death and am like 30 on the list of most played games.
I cannot wait for the release so there are more maps and plenty of people
to keep this on topic, nothing. I am waiting on Metroid Prime 2(although the way the demo is coming out, may make me wait on it) and Killer 7.

Madden, Pikmin 2, and MMX:CM are my picks. I don't have a job right now, though, so I'll probably end up getting them all for Christmas, along with (hopefully) a Nintendo DS.

Pikmin 2 probably although I'm not sure if I can bring myself to pay full price on a game. All others depend on reviews.
I hear donkey konga is pretty neat, but the follow up is to be really something special.
