If so they blow, I did amazon diet and was charged $50 for the bottle until it was returned and they auto charged me like $60 for their memebership even though I canceled in time. That caused me to overdraft $60, twice for that matter, so they refunded me everything after a whole week of calling the total of that, so like $170 refund via mailed personal check. Lame isn't it?

Grant Consultant finally credited for me yesterday morning, placed an order for the Rock Band drums. :-D

Defrauding Wal-Mart to return your games isn't necessary. Amazon accepts gift returns (Google "amazon gift returns" and it pops right up) and takes the shipping cost out of the coupon they give you in return; the S/H on my DDR 2 bundle I decided I didn't want was $4. Selling the stuff on eBay costs more than that, plus Amazon gives you back the full new value (provided you didn't open it of course). The only downside is that it takes a week or two, but for the patient (which I'm sure we all are or we wouldn't be here) it pays off.

EDIT: It should also be noted that they don't notify the gift-giver, so there is nothing to worry about using this method.

Did you do a straight return without telling them that it was gift.
I do imagine that you have to tell them that it was a Gift from a friend and they gave you the amazon receipt in case you didnt want it and that you want a GC back to your account.

Just like a Gift return to a B&M store where the original purchaser paid with a CC.

I did select that it was a gift return. Got the "we won't even tell the gift giver!" bit and everything. Didn't matter. If you think its worth the hassle, go for it, but don't be surprised if it goes bad.

I sold the two GH3s I got after Christmas on craiglist for $85 each, so that may be a better route than eBay. $85 x 2 = $170 = Rock Band! (or paying bills, whichever is more important to your life)

a friend of mine over at sd returned 4 and got nearly $500 in credit and that was just this week ago. i'll let you guys know if it works out for me.

true, i had these hassles when 2 copies of GH2 were in jeopardy awhile ago...but after about 8 e-mails it got straightened out. last week i returned gh3 and had 0 issues, got credited the money within about 7 business days of sending it back.

I believe this was a bug in the way Amazon processed gift orders a while back and has since been fixed. I haven't heard of it happening to anyone lately.

I had to file a MCR for both Complete Home and Great Fun, but the good thing was that once I put the MCR, a few hours later I was given the credit. Not sure if it was luck or something that has happened alot.

I have an order from the 29th of jan and it got the ship email on the 8th.

So assuming you got the ship email 3 days before me ... that would make it shipped on the 5th.
So its only been a week including the weekend.
So give it a couple more days, then email trainn for a tracking number.

When you go to the offer page from the trainn site ... there are some small text information that gets saved to your comp through your browser.
When your on the offer site it pulls up the info and tells it that you were referred by trainn .. so you will get the credits.
If your browsers is not allowing cookies or couldnt save them for some reason you won't get credit.

If it was because trainn's system is messed up than why do some of us do get instant credits.

must mean it was a mistake on trainn to have it changed as they will prob send a ship e-mail when they actually do send it to amazon to get it ordered/shipped. This is after being adamant with the Grant Consultant customer service woman that I was NOT piggybacked on any other offers, and she confirmed this. Anyway, I called the number on my CC statement and the guy canceled it, but said I had to send a letter to the head office to get a refund. ok lol i did this for my bro also (has own apartment did it there) via your methods and i just submitted my account for approval. The only thing i did differnt was I used his name but my adress (it just checks the adress not name). i will let you know if it goes through or not. Looking back it was very stipid but im hoping they wont catch it since our ips are not linked, also he already got his gh3 bundle too.

When you sign up on your PC your IP address is tied in with that.

When you log in anywhere else, then you will be banned. Unless there's some situation like you moved.. then you send them a support ticket letting them know. That's OK.

I used to sign-in and complete offers on my original account at home, at my apartment, and on campus. So, I would've been logged with three separate IP addresses. And I never had any problems.

Well, the wording of that quote is slightly off. It's one account per ADDRESS and IP address. What you're doing is using two IP addresses for one account. What you cannot do is have multiple accounts for the SAME IP/address. I doubt Trainn cares if you use more than one IP (or even street address for that matter) on one account...just not the other way around.

Me Too! The game has been out for a while now and I havent had the chance to play it yet :-(. Hopefully new downloadble tracks will be available by the time I do get it.

Im going to be ordering:

- American Idol Encore
- Rock Band Drums (Maybe)
- Sega Superstar Tennis (if its added this update)

There aren't many games I want right now. Devil May Cry 4 is tempting but Ive never beat any of the previous ones, specially Devil May Cry 3. I think I would be more annoyed and fustrated with 4, then actually enjoy it so Ill pass until theres a price drop.

Yup, the thing that also makes me want the game even more, aside from the Sega characters, is that its made by the same people who made Virtua Tennis. So you know the gameplay will be solid.

I figure I'll change my yourfree360games account to referral and start two more accounts and get 2 games from each doing the same offers over plus another for the referrals, but this brings up some questions:



Anyone have any tips on prepaid or virtual credit cards? where do you get them, I read through tons of posts about paypal mastercards, but paypal doesn't seem to offer them now.

I've been using the pre paid visa gift cards for the last 2 days and they work just fine, you can pretty much get them anywhere... i got mine at the market. Whats this about going to starbucks and starting a new account? I have a laptop and the starbucks is 2 blocks away from me , so if you could share your idea with me i'd appreciate it

Why is that? this isn't illegal, just manipulative and breaking triann's user agreement. I see plenty of posts around here talking about return fraud, which IS illegal.. so why would my post cross the line?

Pay attention a little closer and you'll see plenty of "return fraud" people being told to stop discussing it. Many just do it anyway... :roll:

The only reason it's slightly less of an offense is because it's highly unlikely that reps from Wal-Mart are reading the CAG boards, but reps from Trainn very well could be. It's all about context man.

trust me this won't work.. especially doing the same offers b/c I did not realize that you couldn't do the same offers but on totally different trainn sites and they still knew. I tried to be a referral to some people on yourfreeps3 or yourfree360 etc and did an offer I've done before on here and the credit went through but I got RED out on the referrer's site and they said it was b/c I did the same offer. I quickly refunded the money I was paid for being a referral and read up more on doing offers and found out they'll know if you do the same offers, not to mention you referring yourself is idiotic.

Are you just gonna sign up bogus addresses and then have them shipped to yourself? Trainn will ask for address verification if they deem it necessary.
