I will add this to the OP, but I am changing that Special Notes section. Nobody should sign up for the offer expecting to cancel that way. It's technically a violation against Trainn's terms of signing up and immediately cancelling an offer.

However, if people choose to do that, then they do it at their own risk. ;)


Most people probably cancelled via their website. I know I did, and it showed a "You have canceled" page on there. Just grabbed a screencap of it before I closed the browser.

I called DealMax Savings and the automated phone number told me I was cancelled, but gave no cancellation confirmation number. So I emailed them. Anybody receive a cancellation number from them?

I called Your Savings Club and when I tried the DealMax Savings member ship number it told me "Were sorry blah blah" and then hung up without cancelling it. So I called and used my home phone number to retrieve my account number. It read me back my phone number and once again said "Were sorry your having a problem etc etc etc." and hung up. So I emailed them as well.

ive personally never gotten anything before they say theyve shipped it. i usually get the shipping email a few days after the estimated ship date then a week later they send it via overnight air.

I've ordered 2 things at the same time before.

1 came very quickly after the shipped emails. I actually got 2 emails on the same day minutes between each other. The first game arrived within a few days, the 2nd game took a week longer and arrived via overnight instead of 2-day like the other one did, but the mails for both came on the same day.

I've also not gotten anything before they say its shipped. I imagine they have a order list to fulfill, and once you're moved to that list they say shipped and put the order in shortly thereafter.

Yes but you must use different cards for the offers. The company that runs them is very strict on this, and I've not heard of anyone getting two of theirs onto one card.

Any estimation/pattern we give right now wont apply to GHIII. For me and regular games it's always been a week from order to when they tell me they've shipped. GHIII is an anomaly as its incredibly popular and they're still fulfilling old orders for it. At the absolute best, it'll ship in the same 7-day from order to ship timeframe, but at worst, and more likely you'll be waiting a month for it at least.

I'm looking into the timing of how it worked because apparently I only used $520 in 2007, but I had my account submitted for review, it was approved and I was able to place an order but didn't b/c I didn't want to go over the limit.

So I guess my question is very specific, what did you do that triggered the message from TraInn concerning the w-9 form? Thanks!

I don't know how that company works it either, they may allow you to use the same card for different services and I'm not exactly sure if they are the same company. I used different cards on both, but that was just on that day, it wasnt planned. Overnight Genius is like Video Professor (not company wise, just the type of thing it is, learn Excel etc).

I was never given a member number, I called to cancel and only got errors from the automated support, and today I just got an email telling me that something has happened with my email and it was being delayed. That was sent to me by Gmail. So I went to their site and tried to select Contact Us and then Cancel Membership, but of course that button didnt work. Luckily I was able to select a different issue and then change it before I sent the email.

But my 7 day trial is up on saturday and they said it will take 2 business days. This is a load of bullshit. No membership number, phone support and online support don't work.

Msane already explained it, but I thought I would chime in as well. They don't really notify you about the situation. After you place an order that puts you over the limit, the status on the game (on their site) changes from "Processing" to "ATTN: Contact Required." (Or something like that).

It worried me the first time I saw it, since everything had been great until that point. That's when I contacted them, and they provided me the information that I placed in the OP. They were pretty quick about opening my account back up after I had submitted the W-9.

The only way to stop them is to call and let them know the date in which you canceled, relative to your trial date. Explain that it was during the timeframe, and you are still being charged. They will remove the charge(s).

True did that to me the first time I signed up with them, long ago. It was an easy (though a bit annoying) process.

EDIT: Muffin, please call them as soon as you possibly can. They (True) are ruthless about charging/sending letters/calling you. My roommate had signed with them on a completely different website (I was unaware he was doing referral sites at the time). A couple weeks ago, he told me True was hounding him, even though he said he canceled during the trial. No amount of my convincing could get him to remedy the situation. He says his credit card has been charged multiple times.

Has anybody here had trouble canceling Zooba in the past? I tried to do an e-mail cancellation and was told that I had to order five books before I could cancel. Obviously, that didn't happen to Rig. Has anybody else had that happen? Maybe if I call them they'll let me do it?

Did you click on the extra gift card offer after signing up for Dealmax? When I did Dealmax, I didn't click on that and I wasn't signed up for YSC. However, when I did privacy matters and one of the other from the same company, I was signed up for YSC and received an e-mail and membership info. It was very easy to cancel online. I got a cancellation e-mail within less than an hour after cancelling.

I too, just got the Disney email. This is the third day I think. It says you have to click the cancel link within 24 hours but that doesnt matter.

I'd recommend this offer to anyone. It's an instant credit and it ends up being free (assuming you cancel pretty soon after you get the email).

haha to you guys who want my copy of Orange Box. worst game ive ever played honestly. Portal is an amazing 4 hour experience but the other games are worthless imho. TF2 is awful on console considering its meant as a PC shooter, and the Half Life games dont live up to the hype either.

The same thing happened to me with my chase credit card but then i put my debit card in and it went through great. Also don't worry about the temp holds they will be taken off your account in 5-10 days.

Carebears doesn't let you cancel in 24hours via e-mail link, only Seuss and Disney. I did carebears and just canceled and sent back the package after they sent me a return label. Now that I think about it, I don't know if I've been refunded or not lol I'll have to check my CC.

Most people probably won't be too excited for the Photo Stamps offer, but just an FYI that I got my credit for it yesterday. It took 24 hours for it to credit (No MCR!!!!) and I ended up paying about $22 for 20 forty-one cent stamps. It's not an offer I would ordinarily take advantage of but figured it worth it given that it pays for half of a game and will make a fun gift for a family member.

Yeah there isn't a set time, but the last time they said to expect it around a date they pulled through, came in on a Sunday at around 10-11AM CT, as I was refreshing the page constantly LOL and I'm sure was one of the first to put an order for Assassin's Creed. So I'm hoping for it to appear within the next hour or so. Also they update it one by one, so you could be refreshing and more games can appear, it's not all at once, or at least the last one wasn't.

I submitted on Dec 19th, I did email them about it though after the 10th day, so you should try that if it doesnt credit by the end of the week Id say at the latest.

I never saw Too Human before, so I did update my post, because I really don't follow the updates too closely. I don't even check more than once or twice a week these days, so this is the first time I saw it.

I filed my Bargain MCR on 12/16 and emailed them about 2 weeks later about something else (disney) and asked about it anyway.

It's just when using a checking account I would advise you to TRULY stay on top of it. If you decide to cancel ;), word of advice: Tell them you are canceling and you no longer wish to receive the product and DO NOT AUTHORIZE ANY FUNDS FROM YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT. This way, in the event they do.. and you have a copy of that email you can use legal action! Hooray for legal action!

I got that advice from another site. As soon as I sent that e-mail, I got a response in a few hours with my cancelation confirmation :rofl: This company, so I've heard, is pretty bad. They have a horrible support system (long e-mail responses, on hold for a LONG time). You just have to be aggressive when canceling.

YES, Anyone that plans on doing Amazon diet, listen to this guy. I did it and yes it credited instant which was AWESOME, BUT I've had a month of trouble from them. First I waited until I got the pills to cancel, but it was still within the trial deadline. After I canceled via phone (I've called this company like 20x and their CS seems all foreign speakers) anyway... about a week later I got $108 in charges through two e-checks from their company. This caused me to overdraft TWICE, so another $60 charge onto my acct. I had to go to my bank and talk to them about these unauthorized charges. I then called the company many many times to get them to refund the charges.

Their policy is that they don't refund electronically although they can withdraw electronically w/ no problems apparently. Anyway, they refunded through a check one of the checks (the month charge) and the $60 overdraft charges after my bank Faxed them my statement showing they caused me to overdraft. I also had sent the bottle back the day after I got it and they had to wait for the bottle to arrive to refund me another $50 they charged for the bottle, EVEN THOUGH IT DOESN"T SAY RETURNING THE BOTTLE IS NECESSARY! BLAH. Anyway so they caused me to be down $170, and I'm still down $50 and during the holidays this is NOT COOL. I received one check as I stated and have still been calling to get my 2nd check to send and they say it's being processed. This sucks and I did this offer in late November and I'm still dealing with this BS. yeah sorry but I thought this was important for those of you wanting to do this.

I haven't done this one, but it says you have to do 2 things:
-Register for a 14 day trial (which I assume you dod)
-Stay a member AFTER the trial. Basically you need to become a paying member and will need to pay for a month of service.

It says you'll get credit 22 days after sign-up. So you should file for MCR say.. a month after your sign up date.

complete home is easy, only $1, on mine I needed MCR but it credited after filing MCR in like 2-3 days so overall a 10day credit..not bad if you don't need a credit ASAP and it's a nice surprise.. but many people get it credit within the 5 days it says.. same w/ great fun.. I know many others have done autovantage..

Yes, usually. They only give you a date that they receive from whomever they order from. Most of my stuff has come from Amazon, and Amazon is really good with ship dates, IMO.

Has anyone had problems with Grant Consultant not going through? I tried it twice on different CCs that have no problems anywhere else and got "card declined" on both. I tried taking off the Apt number but it didn't seem to help. Anyway, I gave up on it, did a different offer but now have gotten two phone calls from them "following up" on my inquiry. I asked to speak to their CS but got the runaround, offering to take my CC info over the phone. As far as I can tell there are no holds on my CCs for them, but the fact that they have my number makes me think that something must have gone through. I tried calling today but got no answer and left a message. Any thoughts?

The problem with the RB guitars is that the earlier batches were prone to manufacturing defects. When they're working properly, they're actually my favorite make of guitar controller by far. It's larger than the others, has larger buttons, a strum bar that's easier to grip, and the solo buttons are pretty darn useful (both for solos and for people with really small hands).

My friend got Rock band and his strum bar died on the guitar after one song, so yeah they suck. THey do replace them though or give you any free EA game as replacement (newer titles).

I played with a group at a friend's house a month or so ago, and we used the standard 360 headset hooked into a standard 360 controller for vocals. Worked just fine, as far as I could tell.

Plus it could conceivably allow you to play the guitar and sing at the same time, if you know the song really well...

Yea, but I have a feeling that the new drums and guitar will come packaged with a USB hub since they are cheap to make. Even if they dont, one of my guitars is wireless so I am set. Also, I know you can use headset, which I will use for awhile, but I want the mic for some reason.
