I ordered it the other day, and it went from "processing" to "Waiting for item" so Im guessing it means its backordered.....crap

my estimated shipping is the 19th but i just went through this topic and "waiting for item" means that they dont have any to send you, so are waiting for the next shipment from amazon or whatever

and amazon says its coming in stock the 18th so maybe ill get lucky and get that batch of GH3.

and in my quest for getting 2 credits I did 4, the other 2 im gonna MCR so maybe Ill pick up rock band....

So I just cancelled Yahoo Success Center. Very painless.

I have 2 loose credits out there (Zooba and CompleteHome). I've yet to get an e-mail from Zooba, which bothers me. I just want these one of these two to get through so I can order another game.

And my GH3 was scheduled to ship Jan 10. Yeah, it didn't. I hope it's soon.

I haven't given up on the site yet, but I am growing more and more disapointed with them as of late.

When I first signed up for the site, I placed my first order for the Guitar Hero III bundle. I ordered it about a week or 2 before it was to be in stores. I was hoping to have it as soon as it came out. It didn't show for another 2 weeks after, but it did come. It also came from Red Octane so I got all the extra goodies. So even though it took about 4-6 weeks it came & cost me only $10 (gamefly & simply you), I was thrilled. I started telling everyone about the site and quickly had about 6 referrals.

I placed my next order back on Dec. 1st. This time around I ordered a Halo 3 Spartan Controller. I was going to use it as a Tournament Prize at a LAN Party I was helping to run on Dec. 15th. Yeah I should have ordered it a bit sooner, but I figured 2 weeks should be plenty of time. 1 week to process and it would be shipped the following Mon-Tues and should be there by the Thurs before the LAN. Well I waited and waited and no sign of it. Finally that Friday night I went to my local BB and had to purchase one. I figured I would just return the one from Train to BB when it came.

I created a support ticket on Dec. 21st to find out if they could track it down. Almost a week later (Dec. 26) I got the following response:



Well as of yesterday (Jan. 8) I still have not received a controller. I re-opened the support ticket this past Friday & have not heard back yet. Luckily I have until the end of the month to re-turn the controller to BB to get my refund. Normally I would only have until this weekend to return it, however since I purchased it in Dec. they gave you until Jan 31st. Regardless I am still out $60 until it comes.

I placed another order on Dec. 14th for a 2nd Guitar Hero III and another order on Dec. 26th for the Rock Band game. I am currently at the "Shipping Soon" status on GH3. But I did get the shipped email on the Rock Band game on Jan. 2. So I am expecting that this week, but who knows.

My younger brother signed up & has been waiting for them to add the new DDR. He signed up in Dec. and when there was no Dec. update he got a bit nervous. He did email them a week or 2 back and they did respond saying they will be doing a Jan update. They said in about a week or 2, so that should be any day. But still no update as of yet.

Hopefully my controller shows up today along with my Rock Band game. And they do the update this week.

yahooo success just credited instantly for me (did it via paypal virtual cc). Also I did gamefly with a prepaid cc from commerce bank. Just make sure you have your prepaid registered with your info because when i originially did it they also locked me out but then i registered it and put it in again and my acct was unlocked and i later got credit through mcr.

When you get a shipping email, it's not always 100% certain that it has actually shipped. It's possible no doubt, but it's also possible it hasn't. Tomorrow (Thursday) is no chance. They only ship overnight when things are late and items shipping on time 99.9% of the time ship 2 Day. Friday if you're lucky, but if I was in your shoes I'd be looking towards Mon-Wed of next week.

youll still get credit. i signed up for blockbuster using my blackberry email address and had to file an MCR for it. they accepted the headers from the email that i forwarded to my regular email account. i just added a little note at the beginning that i couldnt view full headers on my blackberry so i had to forward it to another email.

lol close that support ticket. If you already got credit and ordered you should be fine, I accidently canceled a trial like that too forgetting I had just signed up for it. I haven't heard of anyone on this forum get banned for canceling early and I know I've canceled quite a few early honestly. Just close the ticket so trainn doesn't do anything about it. That's what I'd do.

Ok, after a bunch of torment, i'm finally back on track.

Back in December, I sent a support ticket asking about my holds for the gift tax form, as well as how I could avoid it for 2007. After a week, I got a reply "cancel 2 of the orders, and place them again after Jan. 1". So I sent ANOTHER support ticket, saying to cancel my NEWEST orders (obviously, who wants to wait longer?). After another week, I got a reply, but the idiot cancelled 2 of my OLDER orders, thus setting me back for GHIII once again. Not only that, but the same person somehow managed to remove another one of my available credits that I was holding for when the tax issues was sorted out. ANOTHER support ticket was filed, and this time I got a bit nasty due to frustration. After another week (just about 3 weeks!), they responded and apologized, and gave me back my credit.

As of now, 1 GHIII has shipped (supposedly, although I wont hold my breath), and the others are on "waiting on item" once again. Scene it was ordered and shipped yesterday.

well if you complete another offer it will just be there.. let's say you complete another 2, so you'll have 4 credits right? Once you place an order, using your first two credits, you get to reset your account, and those two other credits will be ready for you to place a 2nd order. get it? You don't have to do anything to "save" credits, except not order anything.

When they finally respond they will tell you that you get nothing since you didn't include headers then tell you if you have them to enter them in and they will look again. Just a longer wait...

Quick question, has anyone tried using Paypal to generate Secure Cards? Would this work for the offers that require you use different credit cards in order to complete multiple offers from the same company (i.e. eAuction, Yahoo, etc.)

You'll be fine. I did the same thing with both Dr. Seuss and Disney. Disney has credited instantly, but I need to file a MCR for Dr. Seuss and I got credit after a few weeks. You'll definitely need the email though with those offers.

no I only had network agenda.. signed up quite awhile back.. as for how long did I wait? Well a while since I couldn't get the number to cancel.. but it's not apart of the offer so you can cancel on day one if you wanted.

the shipping date is just an estimated date. i ordered rock band on the 10th and it shipped on the 14th but it isnt here yet. normally when i get the shipped email it takes a week longer until it actually arrives. i dunno if theyre still backed up with their GH3 orders though. i know theyve been sending out the bundles in phases depending on when you ordered it. i just received mine yesterday after ordering it on december 14th. it was shipped on january 9th but the box says it was really shipped on the 15th.

That's quite a mouthful. I'll try my best, but I might be a bit confused myself.

Referrals will not turn into credits. You need two referrals on the referral account and one offer complete. So you can't simply have somebody do an offer and switch back to get a credit.

Yes. It will show itself when you reset your account. The credit will show up as 1 of 2 in the points account, or the 1 in the referral account. You can switch between the two accounts without it going away.

One thing I have noticed is that on any MCRs that you file, you DO NOT need to still be under the trial to get credit. There is a box when you fill out the MCR form that asks if you are still under the membership or not. Just be truthful, all my MCRs have gone through and most of the time, I had already cancelled the trial. It really doesn't matter.

I had her do it too, but I help w/ all the canceling and stuff for her and when she got signed up for grant consultant, two other emails were sent at the same time. And they were able to pull up the info that was used to sign up for grant consultant to cancel those piggy back offers. So Rig and 2k1 I think you guys are in the clear. My own acct I didn't have the two extra offers, just the network agenda.

I would definitely send them an email or phone call letting them know they cannot legally charge you for something that you didn't sign up for. I saw nothing about those two offers on their site, which means they aren't listed in the ToS (your sister) agreed upon when signing up.

This would probably get them to change their ToS, or take down those offers. Either way, it helps out many others.

I'm currently doing eAuction and Yahoo together (same company as Quickbooks, eAuction, etc.). I used a paypal VCC for both, and both of them credited instantly with no problems. I've still got a couple more days before I cancel, but I can't imagine they're going to go back and reverse an already awarded credit. I'll try to remember to post again after I cancel the trials in another three days and keep you updated.

they have never pre-ordered anything before (Trainn) I dont think they're going to start now. Not trying to piss in your coffee or anything, but they've never been THAT on the ball. It's really just wishful thinking.

And that's not entirely true (3-5 day thing) I can recall 3 games recently that didnt happen to, Assassins, WWE, and COD4. All 3 I picked up at EB, and all 3 on the "advertised" release date they said that was just the "ship date", and the games couldnt be purchased until the next day because they werent in the store yet, except COD4 which arrived on the advertised date about 2 hours before close.

Games are not handled the same way as DVDs and CDs are. 9/10 times when a store or gaming website states coming June 3! Unless its soemthing huge like Halo, those are just ship dates and you usually cant get it until the next day.

I personally use paypal virtual credit cards which gets me a new number everytime and allows me to close the card after the transaction. In other news trainn says there comng out with a wii and ps3 games site. The wii one is wiigames4free.com and i think the other is yourfreeps3games.com

i still don't know how to do the virtual paypal card...can someone explain ??First of all, you have to have a Paypal account. You also have to have a "Verified" status, which means that you put down a credit card so they can confirm your address, and that you also put your bank account information in there. In order to get your bank account information in there, just put down your account number and then they put two deposits on your bank account. You have to check your statement and then enter the ammount they deposited in order to get it verified.

Once you've done all that, just install the Paypal plugin and it will be installed in your browser. Then, the next time you do an offer, once you come to the page where you put your credit card information, a little box will pop-down and ask if you want to generate a Single-use or Multi-use card. Choose either and then will generate it and automatically fill in all the credit card info slots.

I just found out about this and it's great, I just did all those offers (eAuction, Increase my Margin) that require different credit cards all in 20 minutes, so now I have five more offers done :D

Even if you were to use virtual cards, I would still cancel.

Don't give the trial companies a reason to try and dig into your records. It's simply not difficult to call and cancel trials, even if you think there will be no repercussions.

For me, it did credit instantly. I'd say within 10 minutes. I got the e-mail about 36 hours later. I was never charged anything, just $1 authorization. After I got the e-mail, I clicked the link and canceled and was never charged anything after that.
