Sorry, its rare to find a deal for these. I know amazon had it for $250 and you get a $50 Gift card with it, but that expired. He may not be able to buy one instore in Canada, but he can shop online and find a deal, cant he? or do they not have the internet yet in canada?

eric - yea, they have internet, but its way expensive to buy it there, because of shipping and other jibba jabba, and to bad cause i wanted the 50 dollar GC.
muncle - macmall.com + shipping + tax = way to much.
best right now is crutchfield for 250 shipped

A nice thing about crutchfield, is that you can ask for 4 monthly installments.

If you are a student, you can order it from the Apple Store direct for $229 (plus tax if you have an Apple Store in your state) either in store or online.

ya, you need a credit card. They bill you over 4 months. I alwyas use that when I get a new head unit. It has to be a credit card, they dont take debit cards for the 4 monthly installments.

They're illegal in Canada? I wonder if it has anything to do with this.

"But far fewer people know it is illegal to copy music from a CD you have legally bought."

iPod minis are very poorly made. those things arent that good. I suggest your cousin just get a 4th generation ipod 20gb for 300

With the 4 monthly payments, they ship as soon as you order.
