PSP question for those in the know

Long time CAG first time PSP owner here:

I'm getting a PSP 2000 for X-Mas and was wondering what I will need in order to purchase games from the Sony store? I don't have a PS3 but I (obviously) have a PC with a USB Connection. Do I need the $30 Sony kit or just a connector of some kind? My PSP bundle comes with the 2GB memory stick at least. Anybody got a link for me to purchase the right (and cheapest) pieces?

There isn't A LOT to choose from the Sony Store. Just a few PSX games and a really good original PSP rhythm game called "Beats". There's also a few demos up as well.

Anyways to answer your question, to download from the Sony Store all you need is a memory card and a USB cable and you're set.
