This is a pretty nice deal. Too bad I already picked it up from Deep Discount for $44.

As for difficulty, I haven't gotten too far, so I can't really comment. Has a similar feel as to when you first start playing the DS version.

Ordered last week (5th) when they dropped it to $40. Called right now (you can also email) and they returned the diff (they do so within 30 days).

As for liking the game, I was playing it today. It's like the last one, but gets really fun if you have another friend. I did the co-op today and it was a blast, still hard, but lotsa fun.

Yea, I think its safe to assume that. New Blood has new characters, new storyline and new tools. It also has a Co-op mode where two people can do surgery at the same time.

For those interested, the DS Trauma Center was the First One, the Wii Trauma Center was pretty much the DS one but with some new tools and new Character with a couple of missions. So New Blood can be considered the direct sequel.

I've bought 8 gamecube games or more in the past month so I think I'm going to have to pass, i am very tempted though.

I only own the DS version and it is a blast, apparently the Wii port was even better and this sequel has also gotten great reviews. The difficulty is not as hard on the Wii version fromwhat I've heard, the DS version gets pretty hard pretty quickly.

Considering it took nearly a year for the original to go down, this'd be a good time to pick it up. The game is fantastic. My only big complaint about New Blood is the voice acting, but you can turn it off, so its no big deal.

This is an amazing game. I just beat it a few days ago.

If you liked the first one, you WILL like it. There's a lot of the same operations, and even some new ones. Co-Op play IS the extreme high point of this game. Co-Op is so much fun..so I hope everyone who is getting it has someone to play it with.
Replay value is very high. Not only do you beat each episode on every difficulty, if you are playing solo you can play each episode with each doctor. So yes..complete an episode with both doctors, on all 3 difficulties :)..and then there's ranks for Co-Op grades too!

DEF worth the $30. Even the storyline (as corny as it gets...) is better then the first one. This one is more believable, actually.

So the consensus is that it's harder than the first? Sweet. The original was too easy. Go play the DS game if you want to be frustrated.

I've only played about 3 levels; the online rankings are a nice extra. Honestly, what I enjoy most about the series is the challenge. It's been quite a long time since I enjoyed replaying levels for a high score. Let's go for S-rank!

Ahhh, crap. I checked the DOTD last night but by then it was time to fulfill mine and my room mate's plan of packing a couple of girls' apartment door with snow and pile snow up behind their cars. By the time we were done, I was too tired and figured I'd grab the game in the morning. Now I missed out. :(
