Looking for a good deal on a quality brand GPS device. Nothing overly fancy, just something that works well and with no additional costs (aside from updated maps). Preferably one that has voice directions.

so far so good with my tom tom 3rd edition..

its basic in the sense of no expansion slots but it gets the job done.

its been on sale lately in the 150 range. (125 on bf)

Not sure if this will help or not but found TomTom 3rd edition randomly through Staples for $150

Theres a NavMan N40i on www.woot.com today for 159.99 pretty decent deal.

Also Bestbuy.com has a Tom Tom ONE LE for 139.99 pretty good deal there too.
