Welcome to the wonderful world of the PSP!

The WLAN switch is found on the left side as you're holding it. It looks like the power switch, just push it up.

BTW, don't leave it on unless you're using it, it drains power more rapidly.

My question is does it drain a little extra power even if the switch is in the WLAN ON position but the WLAN is not currently being used? Or will the power drain be the same for the unit regardless of switch position so long as you are not using the WLAN features?

I thought the switch was there more for like when you take it on the airplane you can disable the wireless radio which could interfere with the aircraft.

It drains more juice if it's on wether it's active or not. Turn it on when you need it. Turn it off when you don't.
