If I hadn't just picked this game up used on the N64 for $2 I totally would have downloaded it. Love this game. How is the VC version? Is it worth getting if I own the original?

Like all the VC games, you're paying for convenience. Do you like it enough to pay $10 to be able to play it on the Wii?

10 dollars to have it in your wii menu and send photos to freinds? probably not, but if its all your using your n64 for, then buying the VC version may let you store the console in the closet and de-clutter your entertainment system
I really would like the contest to go under way, so post your codes!

This is your thread, but I would highly suggest waiting until after Christmas. I'm sure a lot of us will get points to spend as presents.

All my funny pictures are on my N64 cart, not on the VC one. =p

oddly addicting. I dont know though, thats my opinion. I can see thousands of people not wanting this game. Oh, and to Yukines post, I will probably bump it until people start entering :P
But remember its a snap disscusion thread, so you can just fuck the contest if you wnat to. Really, its not a huge project like the SSP, just a small way to send/recieve cool snap pictures. I myself, have snapped an awesome picture of charizard so close up, he looks like those dog pics with the noses 5 times bigger than their bodies :)

It really isn't, the game doesn't really give you that many oppertunities for uiniqu pictures. You just get the same pre-determined situations with the same pokemon and get the same oppertunities to take the same pictures as everyone else.

I think this is a terrific game for kids. Pokemon is for KIDS, people. If you are over the age of 14 and think you should demand a deep game experience from Pokemon, you need to grow up and start liking girls and their cooties.
My kid certainly likes it. Played the damn thing for 3 hours the day after we bought it, finished it, and moved onto something else. $3.33 an hour for kid entertainment was well spent, I think. I was hoping to get a couple more hours out of it, though.
This game could be a really good remake on the Wii. With Wiimote pointing and over 400 Pokemon instead of the 50 or so in the original game, they could stand to print some more $50 bills.

See, this is where I completely disagree. I find the anime and the toys all for kids.
The games are DEF not.
Well, at least the actual games. Spinoff games like this I can understand being more aimed towards kids, but they can still be enjoyed by anyone.
I'm 23 and I still find this game to be pretty fun :)
Oh and I totally 10000000% agree that a NEW Pokemon Snap would be amazing. Especially since we are up to 493 Pokemon!

I honestly haven't played a Pokemon game since I was a kid, but I see nothing wrong with adults playing them. Hell lots of people still think video games is for KIDS, does that mean you'll stop playing them anytime soon?

Cmon, you posted this knowing full well you'd get a response. Clearly you haven't played the Pokemon games. And if you have, you didn't give them a fair chance, or play deep enough to get to real team building and competition.

exactly, I really cant even see a kid completing a pokemon RPG. I really dont think pokemon snap is for kids, but- damn, it is repetitive. I dont mind at all, but I'm sure some people might.
