Best Buy PM Policy & coupon

I bought an item at Best Buy and now it is on sale cheaper in their Sunday ad & I just got an email with a triple points coupon. My question is do I need to return & rebuy the item to get the PM & use the triple points coupon? I had already bought the item before 11 am to get double points, I'm assuming I cannot get 5x the points by buying before 11am & using the 3x points coupon?

I did a PM sunday and didn't have to bring the item in for the PM, just the receipt. Should be the same for the triple points.... what are they gonna tell you? Go home and bring it back so you can rebuy it with the coupon? That would be bad customer service.

There's probably an exclusion on there somewhere. If you redeem the 3x coupons it probably says you can't use it on the 2x points before 11am.
