I've heard of a few, like E*Trade, are pretty good with their interest. I really want something like that to put my money, since all of it (which is a lot) is sitting in a checking account now, wallowing without any interest to help build it. Basically, I just want high interest and the ability to instantly withdraw in case I need the money. Do you guys know of any great sites that offer this, and which ones are the best? Thanks!

Hey, I'd really really recommend ING Direct. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Their interest rates aren't as competitive as they used to be but ease of customer service and getting my money when I want it cannot be easier. That's just my 2 cents.

go to bankrate.com

There's a link for savings and regular MMAs. When you put in your zip code, it will show you the best deals for local and national lenders as well as showing you minimum amount to open the account and, if any, minimum balance amounts.

I'm using E*Trade and it's been great. I think a couple of others beat it for interest, but it's still pretty high. Transferring money in and out takes minutes once you link your checking account (initial setup can take a couple of business days). And if you decide to open an investment account to buy some stocks or mutuals you can link that account also.
