I snagged two for friends, and an extra one just in case somebody else I knew was looking. Found out that one person had already bought it on Ebay for +$35 over MSRP. After looking at the current prices on Ebay to see what I could flip them for if I ended up stuck with them, I cancelled two of the three and just kept the one for my friend. If I was a real scumbag, I probably could have just ordered three with overnight shipping and sold them out of the back of my car at the mall on Christmas Eve... lol.

Once it's too late for people to get these before Christmas, I really doubt anyone is going to want to pay over MSRP. All that is really driving the sales right now is some Nintendo-induced demand and the holiday shopping deadline. When they're available, people suddenly won't want them anymore.

is Wii mania overrated? yes they are hard to find, but it seems to me most hoarders want this for profit or its families wanting it for their kids. just my opinion, but i can wait it out till it hits $200 or so. ive played it and it is fun, but 360 games are better. probably since they target an older demographic. so whats your opinion, is the Wii a must have, a good compliment system if you already have a 360/ps3? or do you wait it out when its easier to find at a lower price. heck, i waited 3-4 yrs for the GC to drop to $100

I always either miss the txt message or this time it never showed up :(. Oh well, I can wait until they are able to keep them in stock somewhat like over summer 07. :)
