I got my wife a beautiful ring with a smaller center diamond with a bunch of small diamonds on each side with a matching wedding band for about $1200 total. She absolutely loves it. I especially think that large diamonds look out of place on a woman with delicate fingers, and my wife is a pianist with the fingers to go with that.
