i've found that playing any games that require a cursor are impossible with the christmas lights on. it's such a funny little system. first i have to pull the curtains on sunny days and now this. when will it stop. ;)

Really? I haven't had any trouble with the Christmas lights on. What kind of Christmas lights do you have?

Blame it on the infrared spectrum. Your Christmas lights (and the sun) produce a lot more light than what you see. It'll never stop, at least not unless Wii2 has some other non-camera-based sensor system.

I haven't had any problems, I have my Wii sensor bar right next to the Christmas tree as well.

Have you tried lowering the sensor sensitivity in the wii options menu? That might help. Mine is down to 2, and it now ignores 2 wall lights just behind my tv. It was messing up movement and controls in MOHH2 (was at 4), but lowering the sensitivity fixed it.
