there have never been platinum gamecubes bundled with the zelda disc. some people got lucky and got one at stores who had copies that nintendo sent them for old gcn's without the bundle.

I got it the day they went down to $99. It came with the GBA Player, and that Zelda disk. Probably one of the best deals I've gotten, since the GBA player still sells for like $40, and the disk is worth a decent amount too. It was definitely much cheaper than if I had bought everything separate. I got lucky too the guy at Walmart put the last bundle they had on hold for me behind the counter for an hour when I called to see if they had any.

I got mine when they were $150 and it came bundled with SSBM. The thing is I have never seen that bundle in my life. Must have been a Target exclusive or something.

ive learned a LOT sice then as well.....
this site helps tremendously....ive missed everything so far....but i know there will be many more 5$ sales, etc.....and now i check the site daily so im not missing them again!!....i need to check these forums everyday too..........cause more info is here than posted on the main site ( i know thats pretty obvious, but i never knew that until recently---cause i didnt want to get into post on another forum as it takes too much of my gaming time....but im going to scan the post at least.....and ill post a topic when i find deals....to recipricate the kindness of fellow CAGs!!!)..
...and i bought my xbx on release day for 299 + 2 games and 1 accessory....thats what gamestop required in order to reserve one on release day....and it was worth every penny imho....its my favorite by far---the games just are catered to my tastes...although it does leave me startved for rpgs for a while---before KOTOR...but i like jrpgs better anyway---thats what i have my ps2 for---but i havent played it since GTA VC.....(i got my ps2 as well on release for 299---but that was way earlier....so i guess it was worth it at the time...it made the DC look like the xbox makes the ps2 look...but ive got more out of my xbox than my ps2 and GC combined.....heck i NEVER played the GC until recently when the 5$ games came out...WW, MP was it for 2 years....then i ToS...and its pretty good)...

u got very good deals ther , my man..........you are quite the saavy shopper..already.......so u sould probably be tecahing overspenders like myself some common sense, instead of learning (w/ deals ..AND PATIENCE..like that...what else is there to learn??)...

yeah patience was my main problem....it was extremely hard for me NOT to nuy xbx and GC on the same day......but when it wouldve been upwards of 800 - 100$ w/ games, controllers, etc....
i was thinking that i could go put a down payment on a CAR...for godsake!!

I wish Nintendo would just sell both Zelda CEs by themselves. I'm sure they would make a lot of money. They are damn expensive on Ebay, and being lucky enough to find one in a store that will sell it separate is near impossible (I myself haven't found one that has it or even if they do have it will, will sell one to me indivually, but I've heard others have.) I got my Gamecube with StarFox Adventures, it's guidebook, a 59 memory card, and two controllers.

WTF, who just bought 18. There were just 18 a few minutes ago. In the past hour before that only one was sold.

Oh well, I guess thats what I get for trying to decide if I want it. Guess I'll have to settle for my scratched up refurbed Gamestop GC or the Metroid Bundle.
