I went to the Greenville, SC TRU last night. I was hoping for Casino Royale but they said they were sold out the first day. The guy said they only got 3 copies of it as opposed to 10-15 of the others, and they were the first three he sold. I already had Ratatouille, so I picked up Cars and Meet the Robinsons.

They took both $5 coupons I had printed out with no questions asked, so I ended up getting both for $15 plus tax. Not bad at all, you can hardly rent movies for that price. Thanks OP.

I just got Pirates:AWE and Ratatouille for $11.49 out the door.

Used the $10 coupon and a $5 coupon...I didn't want to push my luck and use TWO $5 coupons. Still, an EXCELLENT DEAL. I wanted Casino Royale the most...they were out.

No, didnt try any Queens TRU yet. Thinking of going to the one in Douglaston. But there are no other BR I want except for CR. POTC: AWE was available at the Westbury TRU near Best Buy. Thats where I got all my POTC's and Cars.

I handed the cashier a $10 off pirates and one disney coupon and told him that the disney coupon could be used more then once. So he scanned it 6 times. The pirates coupon also worked.

Based on what people are reporting, it sounds like the $5 coupon works as many times as a person scans it - it might check that at least one movie is Disney but doesnt seem very restricted

Same goes for the POTC:AWE working on any movie. Its just a matter of the cashier you get whether or not they look and read at the coupon or just scan. I was lucky to get a cashier that scanned all four $5 coupon. She saw the duplicate coupon and said "this one too?". I said yes and it scanned. I made two transactions just to be on the safe side.

But if anyone has or can get an extra Casino Royale or can get it and wants a new POTC:AWE, I'd be willing to swap.

Well I just got back from my local Toys R Us and the TWO $5 off coupons worked PERFECTLY on the BOGO offer. I got Cars and Ratatouilli(sp?) for $16.86 total after 2 coupons and tax. They even game me 2 free jungle book drums !

Yes they CAN DO THAT but it will be FRAUD. Disney will VALIDATE the coupons when Toys R Us tries to redeem them and when they see that PHOTOCPIES have been accepted WITHOUT UNIQUE ID/BAR CODES, then Disney WILL NOT REIMBURSE Toys R Us for the coupons !!!

With this prolific abuse of coupons, it will just be much harder for us all the next time around WHICH IS WHY I printed my UNIQUE coupons the RIGHT WAY so that at least Toys R Us will get the frickin $5.00 and stay the course with LOOSE cashier training on inspecting coupons.

With the methods YOU advocate, the next time we try and use a CAG coupon, the cashier will be all over it with a magnifying glass after he or she gets the CORPORATE MEMO or manager lecture on COUPON FRAUD.

Just my humble opinion anyways... Obviously people will do what they want.

The guy did not want to do it, said the computer would not let him scan both coupons because it said "do not double" on the coupon lol. I told him I had two movies and two coupons and asked if he could try scanning them. He really did not want to, but he did and was shocked it worked.

Got PotC: AWE and Meet the Robinsons for $16.49. The cashier took both coupons, looked at them forward, backward and sideways, then called a manager over for help. The manager explained that because the second Blu-ray was free, they couldn't apply a $5 off coupon to a promotional item. Went to the TRU(Southfield, MI) yesterday and picked up all three POCs, Cars, Ratatoulle and Open Season. Used two $5 off coupons and one $10 off coupons. Congrats on your finds.
Respectfully DO not Double refers to doubling the amount against one item or doubling the $5 coupon to $10 and taking $10 off one movie.
It's a lil silly for them to note this as the retailers that double and sometimes triple coupons are grocery stores. And the respective grocery store usually caps the doubled amount to $1
Ex. if a store promotes triple coupons (with a cap of $1) a $.20 coupon would be worth $.60 but a $.50 coupon would only be worth the cap of $1
Hope this helps...I grew up in grocery store retail and have negotiated national deals with coupon processors.

CAGs noting redundant scanning of the same coupon are checking out with an untrained cashier. It should be one coupon per movie.

Yes I only have a laser printer w/ B&W and the lady scanned it no problem, I just said I got it from the disney Rewards website, although she didn't even read it or care that much.

So he went to go get her and I got worried for a second but then she came over and looked at the coupon and told him how to manually enter it and to make sure it was not limited to a particular retailer like Best Besy etc.. !! I also then handed them the Regular $5 off Disney coupon (LEGITIMITELY) printed from Dsney website and they scanned that one too !

So I got Pirates #2 and #3 for $11.xx dollars when it was all done.

Not really. Its the far back end where Grand Lux Cafe is. Near the Citibank building. if you're taking GCP to Meadowbrook, get off M1W (I think...its second exit/Old Country Road - should be Westbury...same exit to go to Best Buy). Instead of going towards Best Buy direction (right turn), make a left and TRU is on your right. Its the parking lot over to Six Ave Electronics.

I heard that a lot of these DVDs are sold by Disney to retails stores on consignment.. and the retail stores only get a percentage of the sale if they do sell not necessarily the actual MSRP.

Therefore, it is perhaps Disney themselves may not be getting the money back on some of the sale item.. but then again.. I heard the cost of production of these blu DVDs are probably only $1-$2 per disc and they still make money even if they are able to sell to you with all the coupons kicked in for around $5~$10 each.

Today I scored rat, POC 123, cars, robinsons for $40 dollars.... on top of that my son got rat dvd for christmas and it has a mail in rebate for 10 dollars off if you upgrade to blu ray. I'm on Staten Island. To cross the Verrazano bridge to go to Brooklyn would be $9 for the toll alone, not including gas. Not worth it remotely to even do that. Commuting would be 2 hours each way from SI, so yeah....not too appealing. I did go the the TRU in Times Square since I was around there earlier this week, and all they had was Ratatouille, High School Musical 2 and Bridge to Terabithia. I did not see MTR on the TRU on Staten Island.

The problem with printed coupons is a lot of the times we are told not to accept them. They may ring through the register fine, but that doesnt mean that it is fine. You should of talked to a manager to verify the coupons. It is hard for a cashier to literally lay their job on the line for like 10 bucks. They do take coupon fraud and stuff seriously.

It seems that when I enter my information, I am getting 3 even though I only bought 1 Cars BRD. I got 1 already which I assume shipped 1/17, another shipped on 1/22 and the 3rd one is being processed.
