View Full Version : Serious Issue Trying To Login To Live

First off I want to apologize in advance if this was asked by anyone else. I really don't have the time to search through a bajillion threads to see if someone has the same problem.

Now my problem; I can't seem to sign in to Live. I don't get a "can't connect to Live" or any other error message. The screen just sorta blinks and it goes back to me being signed out.

Here's the interesting part; when I'm in the middle of playing a game, I bring up the Blade and try to login in to Live and I get a "Your Account Has Been Suspended Due To Your Method Of Payment Being Incorrect Or Expired" it then trys to redirect me to my Live Account settings. However, before I can do ANYTHING, it boots me out that menu and back into the game! I try accessing the menu from the 360 Main Menu, but it says I have to be signed in to Live!

And to make things even more crazy, I can still update games via Live and my Gamertag even still tracks what games I've played.

So does anyone have any clue as to what I should do? Besides call M$, which I plan to do once the Xmas season is pass (I'd say about three days).

Thanks for the link RSA. His issue does seem similar to mine, but I can actually sign into my account, I just can't connect to live, yet I'm still able to update games, and my Live Card is still tracking the games I've played.

fuck, I really hope thats not the case. Otherwise I might just snap and ditch my 360 altogether.

Call up 1800 4 my xbox and talk to them about it. Everytime Ive had a problem they were able to fix it for me.

Might just be something really odd though.

Thanks for the number, saves me the trouble of looking them up. I was going to wait till after the holidays, but let me see if they'll fix my problem now.

Either try calling them or try logging in to www.xbox.com and try to log in with your Microsoft passport info. Then you can maybe try updating your billing info with a "new" credit card or something. Then it may fix your account billing issues.

How about a brief explanation of what the issue was for people's reference in the future if they have that same problem?
