Now I know I've asked a similar question... but I'm in Europe right now and am getting some very mixed signals so I want to ask some one who already knows: Would I be able to Play PAL games on my NTSC 360 and Vice Versa?

No. That's why there's two seperate formats. If you could play PAL on NTSC, there would be no region locking.

If the game is region free, but most games aren't.

Depends on the region. I don't have a problem with most American games on my Japanese 360, but the PAL region DOES apparently enjoy being a collective dick to international gamers. It's got one of the lowest "working" to "fuck you" ratios of games out there.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is more of a publisher region locking issue than a video format.
Here is a good list:

That's what I thought, until I popped a PAL DVD into my PS3. :(
I haven't tried it on my Xbox, though.
Update: It works just fine on the Xbox (Region 0).

you can play any Xbox 360 games on NTSC or PAL TV
