Graphics "Shadows" problem

I have had my 360 Elite for a couple of months now and I first started noticing this about a month ago. Certain parts of the screen when playing a game would have flickering streaks running across the screen. Kind of like a shadow eminating from the object on the screen, the shadow is not black though but somewhat of the color of the object. This comes and goes at no determinable intervals.

Is my 360 dying already? Its still under warranty, do I need to wait for Rings of Death or can I send it in like this?

Any input would be very welcome.
