Heatseeker - Does It Make You Happy?

I'm tempted by Heatseeker for the Wii from the current GameFly sale. For $14 shipped, I don't see how I can go wrong, but I was wondering if anyone had played it. The metacritic reviews are typical for a Wii game - all over the place.

If you like flight sims it's decent enough. It's no Ace Combat, but I felt that the $25 I got it for was well worth it. The missions tend to go on too long, so it's not good as a pick-up and play game, but as far as arcade flight combat games go it's fun enough. If you like arcade combat games I'd say it's well worth your time and money.

It's alright, definitely nothing special, but not seriously flawed. $14 sounds like about how much it's worth.

The Wii makes me happy, so yes Heatseeker made me happy. Not the greatest game, but in my opinion well worth $15. If you don't like it, trade it in or sell it on ebay and you'll probably be out at most $5 or so. Basically the price of renting it to try it.

I bought it for $26 and wasn't upset with the purchase.

Cool - thanks for the impressions! That's good enough for me, especially since it sounds like no one has any major negatives. I'm a sucker for anything on the Wii, so I just ordered it.
