I found several XBOX music makers marked down to $10 bucks at a local
Walmart. They appear to be still 39.99 at the other stores (Walmart included). Besides Walmart, where can I exchange these (without a receipt) to get a store credit on a game a really want ?

You can take those back to diff stores like EB and BB and even Circuit City without a reciept to get store credit. Just tell them that it was a present and that you didnt get a gift reciept with it or tell them thayou lost the reciept. Most stores will only give you store credit so make sure you return it to a store that you know has a good selection of games.

Why are you helping him rip off a store? Good deal with the Music Mixer for $10 but in the future do not ask how to scam other stores.

It's only $10 at Walmart? How YMMV is this?

Is this more like a program or a game... What is it?

Yeah, just be glad you found such a good deal, most Wal-Mart clearance is YMMV. Don't turn a great deal into a scam. If you want to make money off of them, eBay them, don't pass them off as being bought at another store.

I think he may have either gotten confused or they may have had a mislabel with the PS2 Music Maker and the XBOX Music Mixer. The PS2 Music Maker is $9.99 retail.

I don't think its a mistake. My walmart had the ps2 eye toy for $10 about 2 months ago. They sold very quickly at that price.

YMMV means "Your mileage may vary". In other words, not everyone will be able to find the same deal at their local Walmart.
