It keeps doing it so I am either sending it to nintendo or taking it to walmart. They claim they are getting some in wensday, and I know I'll have to go early, but I rather do that if I can.

I've been getting that lately too - it wasn't by chance Super Mario Galaxy was it? I've had mine since launch...

I keep putting in a disc, and it either freezes or says disc error blah blah am I going to have to return it? :bomb: After all the trouble of rushing out to get the stupid thing, and waiting I am starting to get pissed.
please post the EXACT error message it is saying.. disc error blah blah blah doesn't compute :|

It says
An Error has occurred.Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting.
Every disc says that. I just bought it today.... Before you ask a stupid question yes I put the disc in right it played one time, and froze <_<

Call Nintendo, they will fix your Wii for you.
Seriously :)
I don't have the number, by Nintendo.com and go to the Support section. You will find a phone number to call.
I understand it's annoying, but being upset won't make it fixed. So just relax, and call Nintendo :)

lol I found one today actually which is cool. I don't know why,but I blowed where the disc goes, and every since then it has worked. So should I keep it and see how it goes or send it in since it started out with issues?

Well I'd say just stick with it for now..but even the slightest bit of it acting up.. just send it for repairs. Seriously. It can be repaired for FREE so don't be hesitant about it.

I'm always kind of paranoid of sending them in for some reason. Thanks for the help

lol @ blowing your Wii
good luck, and if worse comes to worse, Nintendo is way better than Microsoft about replacing their stuff.

It hasn't done that error crap ever since I did. I remember that was common with nes back in the day,but not now. I played mario galaxy for about 30 some mins, and it works, plus the game is rather fun :D

Return that shit. Oh wait, nvm stupid move. Um.. don't know what to say. I really want to suggest you to sell it near your area or return it. Chances are, itll happen again then you gotta send it to N and wait weeks..
Plus theyre going to send you a gay refurbished one, and thats no fun.

Do you even know what the hell you are talking about?
Nintendo repairs on average are usually around 10 days. Plus, they make every effort to send you your system back, especially if you have VC titles.

Send it in to Nintendo, it's fast, easy, and you're guaranteed to get another Wii (if the store you got it from is sold out they just might give you cash/store credit).

It only did that disc error one time since then. So my question is should I send it in nintendo now or wait till it want do anything at all? If it isn't completely broken why fix it right? lol

I say play it for now, maybe consider it again closer to the end of the warranty.
