View Full Version : 360 doesnt read Halo 3

My 360 reads every game PERFECTLY except Halo 3. There's absolutely no scratches on the disc whatsoever, its clean. I had an old copy of Halo3 that was all scratched up and didn't read, so I got a new one. Now it takes at least 7 cycles of opening and closing the disc tray to get the game to read. Any ideas on fixes?

Your DVD drive is probably going bad, call the Microsoft Xbox Support line.

Are you sure? I just got it repaired, and they sent me a new xbox. This is what happened to my last one. Now, it's JUST halo 3 though. All other games read immediately.
Sounds like your Xbox knows you suck at Halo 3.

this happened to my buddy, a new copy of halo corrected it though. take the game back and exchange it. and if that dosent work... then call gay ass MS

Heh. Anyway.
My second 360 started flaking out on Halo 3. Eventually it wouldn't read /any/ disks. Music, Game, Demos. Nothing.
