I've been looking for this one too.
One person told me that the game has been discontinued, and Capcom d lost the rights to the Marvel charcters. Hence, no reprint.
Is that why this game is so hard to find?

I felt the same way for the original Dreamcast version - had to nab it at $60+plus shipping from www.tronixweb.com - and I've never looked back.
But in the end, it still doesn't save me from all of the Storm/Cap/Sent and Mag/Psylocke/Sentinel players -_-

The game on XBOX is pimpin because you can go online.
hahahaha I wish
That's why it didnt sell well, cause Capcom lost the Marvel license and couldn't alter the game even if they wanted to.
Glad I picked it up at CC for $15 awhile back, cause it goes for $50 on eBay. Sweet!

Damn! A few months ago I bought this game at Meijer for $30. I took it back without opening it because I found out it wasn't playable online. I also sold not one but TWO of the DC versions. I bought one when it first came out and sold that one because I figured I could just get it for XBox (with "online" capabilities), and sold another one recently for $15 because it was in horrible condition (I bought it used from an ebay asshole who lied about the condition), though it played fine and was complete. Oh well, it wasn't that great of a game single player, and I don't have any friends who are into fighters.

I'm a total bastard! . . . I picked one of these at CC for $5.
I have no interest in a fighting game, Honestly, I got it for trade . . . I didn't know it was worth anything.
When I saw it was hot, I waited a few weeks (probably should have waited for Xmas) but then sold it on ebay for over $50 plus $5 shipping handling (the person paid with a MO so I avoided paypal fees).
Let's see, that covers 9 of the CC games that I kept
Should've helped out a CAGer on this, but a few scores like this keep my wife off my back about how much I spend on games.

This game is rare?
I saw this in the 'Buy 2 Get One Free' bin of used games at a local video store.
Hmmmm...
