i have gift cards and would like to use them online. i dont know anything about buying online as i havnt bought anything. my question is do i really need to make an account on b&m websites like walmart and best buy to use them? or can i just use the gift card without an account.

ive ordered from both bb and walmart's website, i didn't have to have an account.. it was a year ago though, so times may have changed

did you go and pick the items up or how was the information to your house given so they can ship it. i know i can trust stores like walmart and such but its still hard for me to input info and feel safe about everything.

Not for nothing, but you really should get use to giving up information for online services. One, it makes your life easier. Two, we are in a digital age, and more and more things are shifting to online space.

I mean, with something like a retail store, all you are doing is giving them your address, phone number, etc. Nothing too bad. It's not like you have to give them your social security number or anything.
