I hate to say it, but I assume that we're not getting anything new. July was the halfway point of the promotion and if they were going to update, I have to think it would be then. We still have a week, but I'm not holding out much hope.

What is going on with my packages??

I currently have a "100% Large recycled Tshirt", that Duffel Bag, and that Tote Bag being shipped to me, but they're being teleported across the United States to a place where I don't live?

Alright, so all 3 of these packages started out in Capitol Heights, MD when I ordered them on the 22nd and 23rd. And then it said something like "Shipment Carrier Arrived - In Transit" for about 3 days. Now I checked back on the progress on the 26th and suddenly Capitol Heights, MD is not there anymore; it was just erased and instead, they put this in its place.

Okay.. I've read that thing a million times.

All it says is

Allow 8 to 10 weeks for shipment of Sweepstakes Prize (or tickets/itineraries in the case of Prizes in the form of trips) by mail following notification process. Sweepstakes Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within the United States.

It also says..

SHIPMENT OF HARD GOODS. In most cases, allow at least 10-12 weeks (some items may take up to 16 weeks) from receipt of order for shipment of Hard Goods via postal mail, unless otherwise stated on the Website

..For things like the shirts and CDs. But I KNOW that those do not take 10-12 weeks, but on average 3-10 days.

It's because I've heard lots of different things about people getting their prizes; such as some people waiting 3-4 weeks and some people getting it in as little as 4 or 5 days; I got confused. Thank you, now it all makes sense :D

I contacted Amazon/Pepsi about a couple orders I had placed in May and June, so they said they were sorry about the delay and gave me $10 off my next Amazon order. Then yesterday (a week after) I got one of those orders in the mail (1950's Vintage Beach Towel, Yellow)! Woo!:applause: It also came with some free toothpaste instead of the McDonald's coupons we used to get.

So if any of you have past orders you never got, you should contact them. At least you should get $10 off your next Amazon order!

So, the small stuff will just show up at your door, and the bigger stuff will arrive as an official claim letter.

as for your situation, i'd recommend breaking it down into at least 2 days. after maxing out my account on mountain dew points for the every10minutes promotion a few years back and putting all of my possible points into one of the drawings and losing anyway with better than 1:3 odds, i don't really support the all or nothing approach anymore.

Since I haven't seen it mentioned yet, the new NFL tie-in Pepsi w/Lemon flavor comes with double points. You know, 20 oz bottles are 2 pts, 12 packs are 4 points, and so on.

Yeah, try spontaneous times throughout the day, or whenever you just remember. You'll eventually get a registration in. The most I've ever gone with registration without getting an error message is 2, and then after that it never works again unless I come back at some different time at the day. So just keep trying, you'll get one in, and then many more :D.

I just took a survey from one of the survey sites about Pepsi Stuff.

Not to give away too many details, since I agreed to their confidentiality statement, but I will tell you this:


PepsiStuff will continue through 2009
There will be a heavy tie-in with MTV, and there was a hint that the Amazon role would be reduced if not nearly eliminated.
There will be more chances to win cash
And, finallly, I wish I had held on to some of my points. There ARE some bigger valued redemptions coming.


The game will revive it's excitement with whats going to happen next year. It will be interesting to see if they allow the full accounts to have more points, because at least one of the new code redemptions is 3500 pts.

Of course there is the possibility that we'll all have to redeem what we have in November and start fresh in January.Hopefully this is real!

To anybody using the grandparents.com promotion. The google dot trick works, as does @googlemail.com. Although it won't let you do more then one period in a row. Example: supa.deuce@gmail.com works, but supa..deuce@gmail.com doesn't.

I can only get it to register twice at one time. Then it starts giving me that the registration is down. It comes back up 30 to 45 mins later. Rinse and repeat. The codes take forever to get though.

If they were planning on restocking anything, they would've done it already. It's been around 8 months since the pillaging, with nary a new item in sight. It's not happening, and it's beginning to seem that this whole 'restart' MTV thing might actually be happening. I am hopeful, however, with how much they're plugging PepsiStuff recently that the points *will* carry over.

Still, it goes to show that the promotion wouldn't have been great anyway... it truly does seem like they intended all of that stuff to last them for the entire time. Shame, really.

Although it's not directly related to the Pepsi Points promotion it is pepsi related.

In case anybody had not noticed , pepsi has begun discontinuing the 12 packs and 24 packs of soda and has begun replacing them with 8 packs and 18 packs. In a way this is better since the cases are cheaper now but are still worth the same amount of pepsi points.

I heard from my local vendor that pepsi started doing this as a cost cutting move. He also said that they will be discontinuing some of the underperforming flavors (the "stupid flavors" as he put it). This however could be related just to my local area and not nationwide though.

It makes sense, though, considering that if it's a choice between that or continuing to charge a ridiculous $5 for a 12-pack... it's a smarter move to offer smaller packages. Is this an exaggeration? I just checked a few days ago and there were at least a dozen CDs and movies there.

Yea there might be one more CD i'd like to get on there. There is stuff left, but not really "good" stuff, lol. I got about 10 albums from it so I am happy, the rest I am just using on MP3s.

I don't know about hundreds being available 2 weeks ago. I thought most of the stuff had been gone since the promotion got raided a few months back. In any case your right that there isn't that much good left to choose from.

On a related note , has anyone else gotten some pepsi points from amazon? I got a package of some games I ordered and they was a slip inside with a 5 point pepsi code inside.

ARG!!!!! First pepsirecycling is gone, and now this. I actually liked getting MP3s from that site, lol. oh well, I drink pepsi a bit, and I trade my coke points for pepsi points. I am assuming that grandparents.com was the last free pepsi points promotion left?

I just want some kind of confirmation on the future of this program. I've got around 700 points just sitting around, and nothing worthwhile to order.

If I knew it was effectively dead, I'd just go ahead and dump all the points into sweepstakes and hope for the best. However, I don't want to do that yet, in case the site is refreshed after the 'end date' period.

Sorry, ranting. I got a ton of free points, too, but as someone who routinely goes through about 3 12-packs a week, I was sort of looking forward to 'Pepsi's answer to MyCokeRewards'.
