COD4 Multiplayer Connect Time?

About how long does it take most people to be placed into a COD4 multiplayer game? I often have to wait for 1 to 5 minutes during which time a couple people will connect periodically but not enough to start a game. Then, suddenly, all 17 other people will connect.

I haven't been able to get into a game today. It sucks.

Usually about 1-3 minutes.

If it doesnt connect to a match with people already waiting i leave lobby and try again.
I never wait where im the only one in the lobby waiting for people to join.

Its a pretty stupid setup IMO.
Warhawks setup is much better where u can actually SEE the servers and the people on them.

Now it does not even want to download game settings... and I am definately connected to the PSN.

I haven't been able to connect all day. Probably something up with the servers today. Oh well I guess it's time to play Assassin's Creed again.

yeah servers are F'd up.....not even a message letting players know the servers are broke...

Errrrr same problem here, I choose a match type then go back to watching tv with the ps3 in PIP till it finds something. Soo frustrating.

I have had the same problems of not being able to connnect to the servers, when i went on Infinity Wards forums it said that a patch is supposed to be released to fix matchmaking issues. Here are two links one about the servers and one about the patch:

The servers were down on Friday, but they worked fine for me on Sunday night.
