Just got back from the store in Warwick, RI. The employees didn't really know what I was talking about and told me if there were any they'd be mixed in with the regular games. I found a group set aside though that had 50% stickers on them but it was junk like World Championship Poker All In (360), NCAA 06 (XB), Dragon Riders (DS), Jampack 14 and 15 (PS2), and a bunch of other crappy GBA titles.

The "skus" we have been causing a fuss over are for $19.99 Xbox 360/DS/PS2 drive aisle titles. At my store there was an ominous unpacked box with M-rated 360 games. Condemned and other launch ish. So unless you don't have NeoGeo Col or Marc Eckos' Getting Up (great game), no steals to be had. Rocket Slime DS is 19. I need 14 to budge. Thought about Impossible Mission just for horrid box art alone. Left BB and went to Wally World for Rogue Galaxy @ 19.82. Had to cheer myself up. 2 much of anything makes you an addict. Nil. Nada. Zilcho.

Well that depends on what time it is actually. The format changes according to wind pressure, how close (relative of course) you are to the sun, and daylight savings time. How did they do it? Who knows, but the $299 price tag is SO worth it if you ask me.

Well, I went to my Best Buy in NH. (Lebanon, NH).

Tried the BB in fort wayne, indiana

no go of course. I told them a Friend that works at a best buy in chicago said that on the employee web page there was a post of 100's of sku's dropping. they looked at me like they didn't know of the page (without saying so) anyways after three prods I walk away and look for Odin sphere. after 2 mins I walk back to find them on the employee page quite startled. I say yeah that must have been what he saw I said. there was a message board of sorts below it. after a few seconds they logged out and stayed with we did them yesterday. I said so basically either they all dropped yesterday or they never posted the list today. they kinda said err yeah.

For those that braved the odds today (Big clearance rumor), to journey to the far lands (Best Buys), and tested the words of our people's leader (the thread OP). We will forever remember your great sacrifices (Gas and Free time) but you have not suffered in vain (saved others from having to go themselves). For that, today we have all learn a great deal (That false rumor sucks). Our future enemys will quiver in fear ( according to this thread they are Slick deals and fat wallet) and we shall rise above all and triumph once again. Just got back from the BB in Evanston, IL. Didn't see anything aside from some of those cardboard bargain bins with generic-printer signs offering current-gen stuff at $19.99 and under. Title selection was meh.

I did use my Chex Mix $3 off at BB coupon, tho, to pick up a copy of Neverwinter Nights Diamond, which I've been meaning to pick up for a few years now.

The main reason that I didn't try to make a huge mental note of what they had was because I had figured that those were what everyone was going to see. Also, I didn't know that no body had found anything until just now as my internet here at school has been down all day. I may go back tomorrow or Thursday and look and report back what other ones they had.

NOTE: The games were on a little metal bookshelf- type cart. There was a sign that was made in-store that just said something along the lines of "Recently Marked down Video Games 9.99-29.99)

Weird, I had a copy of Bullet Witch in my hands at BB today but it scanned at $29.99. I was hoping it would've dropped (I'd like to find a copy for <$10 and missed out at CC). I think it seems like a lot of stores are doing local clearances but there isn't a lot of central clearance sort of stuff.

That said I may go back and check out Bullet Witch again tomorrow just in case there was a late day drop. (I was there around 3pm)
