Where do I find deals on newspaper suscriptions

I am looking for deals on New York Times, Chicago Tribute, and the Oregonian. Thanks for any help.

local papers tend to have diff subscription types. call them up and find out and then after youve had it for a while cancel it they will call you to resubscribe and give you a discount to get the paper again. you can keep doing this as long as you want. from what ive been told they make alot fo their money from people putting ads in their paper so the more customers they can say subscribe to the paper the better they look.

many papers have stopped doing this since the ads are WAY DOWN. i deliver the local paper and Last year 2006. WE were allowed to give sample papers to people for weeks free in hopes they would take the paper after the free time was up. Around april 2007 They company stopped it saying they were loosing more money doing this then not .

on discounts . we used to be able to offer the paper for 1.00 per week (normal 1.75) now if your lucky you get an offer of 1.50 but 99% of the time we can only offer 1.75 *unless you prepaid 3 years
