GameStop/ EB Buy 2 get 1 free deals?

They had this deal over the holidays and i missed out, but does anyone know how often they do this kinda deal?

From what I understand, EB use to have these a lot when they were their own company. You might have to wait awhile for GS to have another one. In the meantime, you could keep an eye out for a TRU B2G1, but those are pretty rare nowadays, too. There was a time when TRU would have these very often, almost to the point that I almost didn't have to buy a game when they weren't having the deal.

Not sure, but I swear that in the last half of '07 they had it 3 times. Before that it seemed to be once every 6 months or so.

Yeah, these only happen a couple times a year. I'm sure there will be a thread about it, once it does happen.

They normally have deals which require larger purchases, like buy 3 used games and get 2 free, or something like that, but buy 2 get one free doesnt happen as often,
