Has anyone ordered from this site? Their prices seem quite good, and they don't gouge on shipping. While we don't get free shipping on games like US residents, it was only $6 to send to canada, which is the same price that FS charges. And if you get the games less than $20, there is no duty or tax.

They seem on the 'up and up', but has anyone from here actually ordered from them?

FYI - Stuntman for PS3 is only $18.99, and they had a few other decent deals.

do they accept paypal by chance?

No they don't, which sucks. It would be a nice way to spend paypal stash without the paypal tax for taking your money out.

Not from Canada, but I've never had any problems with deepdiscount. Great shipping speed and service. Just a little slow during the 20% sale, which is understandable.

I ordered 3 DVD sets from them during the 20% off DVDs sale. $24 each. Shipped seperately as they got in stock at different times. Since it was that price, I didn't get charged anything by customs, but many people with larger orders have been.

I like them, BUT, don't expect fast shipping and be prepared to be very patient if something happens to be wrong with your product. Often I do get things very fast, but I would never bank on it.

D'oh, didn't realize where I was.

If you search for it on dvdtalk, you will get a lot of feedback on Canadian orders from them. I know there was an issue of getting it mailed the way you wanted it to (people were getting UPS even when they called and specifically said NO UPS, I believe)

I picked up 4 Blu-rays on the last BOGO Blu-ray sale and recieved the shipment (all together) in about 3 weeks. Sadly I was taxed at the border, but with that aside a great site to buy from on the 20% sales.

Ordered some DVDs during the last 20% off sale.

Paid $130, and was caught at the border for $22. Still the DVDs would have cost well over $250 in Canada so I still saved a bundle.

They are definently real and a good company to order from, probably a good idea just to be on the safe side to factor in tax at the border though to see whether it is still a savings, especially if it's a large order

I've dealt with them before. I DO *NOT* RECCOMEND THEM!!!! They "lost" 3 consectutive packages of mine, one intial order and 2 resend attempts. Each attempt took about 2 months, so they wasted ~6 months of my time, and I was about $50 out of pocket because of currency fluctuations (it was a $300+ order) when they re-billed/credited my credit card each time. After the third failure they just blacklisted me from their site, apparently it's my fault they lost $1K worth of product because they don't know how to ship boxes...

To be honest that comes off a little more as the post offices fault, seeing as though they re-sent you the package multiple times. Currency fluctations aside, the fact that you were credited the money back seems pretty solid too.

True enough, it could've been their shipper or my mailman (I actually heard Anime On DVD report they fired their shipper later for mass-theft...). But the end fact is they've banned me from their site for something that wasn't my fault in any way. I've always been an honest trader, I was polite and courteous through the entire 6 month ordeal...

i'd highly recommend deep discount. i've bought from them probaby 10 times. their prices are good (especially during their 20% off sale everything which happens twice a year) and shipping is cheap and quick enough for my liking. once in a while (probably 5 out of 10 times) i've had to pay customs on what i get, but it's never too much and it's never enough to make the total price of the order not worth it.

They are hit or miss. My experince: slow shippers and sometimes unexpectedly cancelling my orders, wrong items shipped . . . etc.
They are mediocre at best and they make no effort to compensate wronged customers. They are only a last resort for me and if you got a good deal you can expect a 50-50 chance of cancellation.

I can count about 8 transactions in my "Online Purchases folder" in hotmail so that's my level of experience with them.

Well they are one of the few US sites to sell to canada _and_ not gouge on shipping.

Used them before a few times, had a problem with my order one time and they were quick to refund, I was VERY impressed. I'd order from them again, if I didn't well, get my movies in other ways.

What I find funny though is in their game section, they have a huge thing on Halo 3... It says "WHY PAY 59.99??? Our price, 58.99!!!!"
