As for Walmart.com honoring the prices, I remember awhile back buying the complete Samurai Champloo set (usually around $200) for $25, plus tax & shipping. An obvious price mistake, but they honored it, as well as a few other items that were also mispriced at the same time.

So anyway, chances are good they'll honor the orders, but they could cancel all the orders too, especially when we have people buying multiple copies.

Still in the case of the CC.com mistake people who ordered got a $10 off voucher and trying to get these pricing mistakes doesn't really cost anything except a couple of minutes of your time, so you're not really losing anything by trying, just don't get your hopes up, I speak from bitter experience.

Most likely, the prices were correct but the database's price table was off by a few rows and what followed was the shift in prices for DS and PSP games. Not ALL Wii/X360/PS3/DS games were affected; only a few, or the sources for those affected titles were pointed to an incorrect value in the pricing table.

You are probably right on the pricing, but these two titles were developed for the PS3 first and then ported . From the 1UPish crowd the buzz has been they are better on the PS3 -- not by tons but by enough that elitests would make hay about it....

Yep, while CAG was down (for, like, all day) I delved into the SD thread and it looks like most everyone got the notice around 5pm Pacific. I then checked my email and sure enough... I had ordered 2 but just to be safe ordered one under my wife's name in case they let orders of only 1 go through. They were both cancelled (by my request :roll:) at the same time.

I certainly don't mind them correcting the obvious mistake as it is on the terms of their web site. But saying "We have received your request to cancel the item(s) listed below from your order" is a half-assed way to do it.
