Im currently on a family plan through t-mobile 1000 minutes /4. @ (99.99) We have had this plan for 3 years and are currently looking for a similar plan with an additional phone and Myfaves or whatever it is for 20.00 more. All of us need new phones and we were going to go through wirefly/letstalk so we can get some decent ones. I've has my eye on the t-mobile wing.

The problem that were are having on the plan is my brother needs to keep his number for business purposes, and we are unable to keep the number for signing a new plan. (renewing the contract) isn't an option either as t-mobile is unwilling to match the offers of wirefly/letstalk. Does anyone know of any deals that would let us get phones & minutes @ this rate and keep 1 number? If not does anyone know if we can sign a new customer plan with t-mobile and add him as an additional line, keep his old number instead of getting a new phone?

I believe by law, you should be able to keep the same number. But don't take my word for it, ask the FCC.

I think that might be only if he does it through an actual cell phone provider (not a third party).

Unfortunately that's one of the issues with going through a 3rd party. Yes it's cheaper, but much harder to keep your existing numbers when switching. I do not know of a way to do this, but if you figure it out post back the solution.
